inking thoughts

The last time i was packed with projects and on the verge of facing exams, i was contemplating a belly piercing. That was about a year ago. Zoe and i were talking about getting our bellies pierced, i and remember mugging out in the living room til dawn, camping at the day bed that boo painstakingly moved over to my place together with a Winston and this other guy tt wears fancy shoes (can't remember his name).
We later dropped that piercing idea when we were done with all that stress, and started sleeping/wasting our term breaks away.

Yep, that was a year ago. A year later...
faced in near situations of overwhelming deadlines and approaching exam dates, i'm contemplating getting a tattoo.

I'm beginning to notice a trend. When stressed up, i'll get the impulse to do something extreme? Luckily, i'm still pretty much in control and sane.

Rather, i lack the guts to carry through, afterall, a tattoo is a lifetime commitment, and i really hate commiting to anything that simply cannot be undone.
As for belly piercing, i kinda grossed myself out, mentally running through the process of piercing.

If i ever were to get myself inked, it would definitely be on my feet or my ankles.
Yes boo, you may laugh at my botched attempts on my dragonfly henna (self painted nevertherless), but yes, my feet.

Somewhat like Nicole Richie's foot - Her rosary tattoo, only that it's alittle too religiously linked, but still, I like it!

However, given the views of our conservative society, it would definitely be cringe friendly to whoever who sees it, especially mommy. She'll hit the roof, and never talk to me for 6 months or a lifetime.

Last i recall, back in the days where it was cool to have multiple earholes, mommy hit the roof over dinner when i told her about mine. But that was years ago, and wow! Dont you miss the joys of being sixteen again?

On second thoughts, maybe, i should try inking myself with a pen, just to see how she would react first.

Bad hot days..

Life.. it's pretty dead for the time being.
I think i've just thrown away 25 marks for Leadership and management, because i had absolutely no idea about what i was writing... and i was merely wasting pen ink.

With OTD and HRM due on the very same day, i'm beginning to wonder how i'll be able to split myself into 2.

I've taken to denial and procrastinating pretty much recently, promptly forgetting to get work done. Running away always seems good, running to bed seems better.
At any mention of work, i become sleepy instanteously.

I've been looking forward to my semester end trips, and my incessant bouts of shopping. Purchased some stuff online, and i'm awaiting its arrival, which works out to be sometime near the end of exams, which suits me perfectly fine.

The weather is bad, it makes me lethargic, and it made boo sick.
Gah... i'm done with complaining. I need to motivate myself, to get done with my work fast. =(

candid eating pictures!

I've finally remembered to ask boo boo to transfer his phone pictures over to me, during supper earlier.
We had Garlic Naan and Masala chicken - it's pretty good! =)

In anycase, these are all imprompt, slightly posed pictures of me eating, eating eating. Yes i love eating. Yums!

Thank you Boo!

R.I.P

Ahh so sad. Da and i were bitching about how sad our lives is, comprising of project struggling days, and lousy scheduled exam dates. I concluded that Da's suffering is considerably worst than mine.

So just like what our display pictures suggest, May we R.I.P. soon.
Amen.

Shopping list and camisole

My shopping list so far, but i'm on the hunt for cute but reasonably priced camisoles.

I saw these 2 from Kyuri's blogshop, and she imported them from H&M, but they're SOLD OUT! =(

being lost and a new haircut

Monday
Woke up with aching legs.
Legs behaved better when boo offered to bring me out to catch a movie.
Interesting to know that the feet were instantly feeling as good as new, as i hurry about to dress up. We caught "Music and Lyrics" at Vivo City, and i think the soundtracks of the movie is cute.
We walked past Best Denki, and boo got me the curler that i've been wanting for weeks. The process of deciding was agonising. I couldnt decide if i should settle for one with cord, or without. The thickness of the curler, and the brand.
But hey! I've *waves the hair wand at everyone*
i've settled for the panasonic ionity curler!

Wednesday

Meet Monster. I saw him at Urban Junkie. Pris says he's been designed to be stuffed into shoes, to make them smell good. So cute! You can rearrange his mouth, and yank out his eyes, to create a pop-out-eye effect. He not for sale though...
Met mommy and the brother for a short dinner, before i rushed on to Blitz to get a haircut.

Went to Zouk after the haircut, and gave everyone at Mambo a "surprise". Bad music this week..

Thursday
Took this in the cab, while rushing off to Bugis to meet the group mates for our interview with AnBC for our distribution channel project. I'll promise to take better hair pictures soon..
My haircut on wednesday was done solely to make my head look less like a helmet, and most importantly to balance up the sides - the after effects of Gabriel chopping up the whole of my left side about 7 months ago. Yes you can be sure that i was rather pissed at him for a week, because everyone made negative comments about my hair. However i grew to like the haircut a week after - who cares about what everyone else thinks? Hahahah.
While we were at AnBC snapping up pictures of the store interior and products, Pris and I fought hard against our urge to buy up all that cutesy and pretty products. I ended up buying only a box of paper embellishment. Spiral paperclips.
I realised that i've got a thing for unique or cute paperclips.

More pictures to come, as i'm unable to locate the Olympus camera. Sure hope that i didn't lose yesterday.
Oh wait, Da just smsed to say that the camera's with her.

*Yup the camera's back, so more pictures in. Here, we have Pris and i goofing around at AnBC!
Nahh, we're trying to illustrate how spacious the aisle actually is! Ho ho ho!

Friday
I zonked out on bed after dinner, and after some quick calculations, i gathered that i've zonked out in bed for alittle over 13 hours. I could have lingered in dreamland for another few hours, if it was not for the fact that i could feel that "sleep-for-too-long-headache" creeping up.

I have tons of work to do, but i'm not in much of a mood to start on any. *pouts*

I dropped by Zoosh yesterday night to collect the Mobil uniform for Da and i. The uniform was horrible! The entire combination looked like what mommy wears to bed, especially the market looking bicycle shorts, like i'm wearing a sloppy body suit. Boo!

To make things worst, i was lost while making my way over to Zoosh. Irvin the agent fella had to drive over to pick me up. It was utterly embarassing!
Being lost is pretty rare to me, as i am hardly ever lost!
The fella had to add salt to my already bruised ego, by asking me if i knew how to go home from his office.

Of course i do!
He said that his office was opposite the community center, and I merely screwed up the wrong Community center.
Afterall, i never knew that there were 2 community center around Chinatown.
I went to the only CC that i've seen around the Chinatown area.

IF he told me that his office was near Keong Saik Road, and somewhere near the Oriental building, i wouldnt have ended up being near the Great Eastern builing. Gahhh!

IT Fair

Yep, i've decided that it is time to change a skin again! So there we go, byebye to pigs can fly!, and hello to Glamour Girl. Haha!
And i've posted up some pictures of Zoe and i, while we were working at the recent IT Fair at Sun Tec.

Pictures of us working on Day 2. We made effort to "co-ordinate" our outfits. The first day was just Jeans with tube, while the second day was an "Act Cute" day, where we wore shorts and cute tops.

I wore my bloomer shorts and a uber glitzy top. I got my ensemble really cheap, from all that cheap shopping that i've done recently. *Grinz*

As for Day 3, we ended the Fair with a big Bang! Zoe and i appeared for work wearing the same top! Hoo! Funny thing was, we never spoke much about wearing the same top, only decided on plainly tube and jeans again. Cute eh?

Everyone working along with us, were amused as well. In anycase, this was our first time wearing this Lver tube top together on the same day. It was that very sunday morning, that we realised that our tube top isn't 100% identical!

The dots were of different size and space, and the yellow base of the fabric was lighter for her, and yellower for mine. Hahhaa.

Working for Dicota for the first time, made it pretty enjoyable. The people there were friendly and nice, the food provided was considered "premium" for the trade standards, though i think i performed averagely only.

This week has been pretty bizarre for me. Not only did i meet many old friends while i was working at the fair, i've also bumped into a few on the streets!
Ahh, it's thrilling to see how everyone is doing now, and i'm really happy that everyone is doing fine.

Bestfriend week

Yes yes, i'm acting cute again. This time, it's with Selene's mini Chuppa Chubbs lolly phone accessory. Cute? Heee hee hee. It's been a fruitful week for me (strawberry flavour!).
Meeting up with 2 bestfriends of mine from different time "era", proves to be fun.
Lets see... Monday night was with Zoe, Tuesday evening with Selene, and Wednesday Evening with Lydia!

Obviously, Zoe's the newest bestie arrival, followed by the discovery of Lydia during my poly days, and Selene from Secondary school days! Hahaha!

Pictures of Selene and i cam whoring in one of those little cafe shops after dinner.

I haven't seen Lydia for years! Being far far away in UK, makes it really difficult to meet up .
I like the pink polka dotted tee, from Zstamp at Far East, it's soooo cute!
Well as usual, we tried on the same stuff, and that got me reminising over the days when we were in TP design school.
Back then, we were known as the chopstick sisters, as we pretty much fancy the same stuff, so we ended up buying and wearing the same stuff together! We made things interesting, by wearing the same item on the same school day!

Planning and co-ordinating our outfits for the next day, was usually our last ending conversation before saying bye, when we were making our way home. Sounds lame, but it was so much fun that i missed!
*
Ahh, it's funny how i met each bestie, All of them under unusual situations, but i'll blog about them some other time. But you know what?! All my besties are pretty! ho ho ho!
Anyway, it's bed time for me. *Yawn*

first week of march 2007

Ha! I declared my own holiday, and totally went ahead with enjoying myself, as planned.

Wednesday night : Went for Zouk's Mambo. It's been at least 6 good months, since i last set foot into any clubs, least to say my usual Mambo. Very thick of me to say that everyone missed me. Hahahha (as IF!). Kinda forgot my moves and grooves, if you ask me. It's good catching up with old friends.

Thursday : Went to school for project meeting in the morning, attended DC lesson in the afternoon, then Set foot into JB, Malaysia, in the night, and it's very nice of Simon to come all the way out to get me, then go all the way back to JB again. We Headed over to City Square to look for boo in the office, grab some groceries, yummilicious BBQ food at a RM a piece. $20RM worth of BBQ wings + Sotong + Abalone. Hahah.. Yums!

Headed back to Msuite for Majong session, Pelly, Boo, Simon and myself + Eugene who dropped by later. (Yes, my dearest sister, i'm, sorry that i forgot to inform you about the absence of majong tiles, and your friends made a wasted trip over to our place for it. )

Some happy shots of a freshly napped but trigger happy me in Msuite ( post shopping).
Friday : Went over to City Square to do some shopping. Gaahh.. i bought a clunky chain cuff, an RM9.90 top, skeleton detailed jeans, and a pair of flatties that i love to death!

I was rather upset that my "singaporean" identity was easily detected this time. It wasn't like this the last time i shopped there! *pouts* Bad disguise this time, either that or the sales people were more discrete the last time i shopped there. Boo!
The last time i was there, people were coaxing me to sign up some insurance and savings plan, and the salesgirl spoke to me in malay! I looked that malaysian!!!!

Saturday : Went for Fallout Boy Concert with Boo, Shing and Danny. Turns out to be pretty good stuff! Bad part about the concert, was the very draggy opening from 2 random band. Wasted the first hour of my time listening to bands that i'm uninterested in.

However, i spent most of my time oogling at Pete Wentz, the bassist and spokesperson of Fallout boy. Well, if you need to know, he's the better looking fella in the entire band. I'd say that he's quite an attention whore, as he spends most of this time prancing around the stage with his antics, and guitar swapping tricks. Though not the cutest star i've seen though. *smirks*

Sunday : Gave Sheila a surprise advanced birthday party. Had mexican fusion food over at North border, followed by Wine, Cigar and Cake over at 1 Rochester Park.
I guess the cake spoilt the taste of the wine, and it was interesting to note that i felt wonkier, and Sheila puked, despite having drank lesser than the week before.

Monday : Met Zoe for dinner, coz bad mommy didn't get me dinner =( .
Headed over to "Sa mar", at Arab Street, the same place we did the last time round. This time however, with Zu Sheng and Sheena. We had drinks and Shesha. I'm not into the smoking, but drinking ceylon tea is fine.. =)
Yep, "Zuuuu" ordered Strawberry and Cappacino flavour this time round, and we sat around for ages chit chatting, til my butt bears the imprint of the chair.

Now that i'm home sitting around, it's sad to announce that i'm suffering from a head throbbing effect from the pot of tea that i consumed.
Caffeine intolerance. Bah!

More updates to come.... and til the next time,

24th Birthday.

Despite being overwhelmed with projects, I've found time to celebrate my birthday!
Tsk tsk tsk.

24 Feb.
We went over to Vivo City, to walk around, get me my white cottony seal from Mother Garden. Hee hee hee. Dinner at Vivo City is a total nightmare. from Crystal Jade, to Tung Lok, to Dian siao er, to Sushi Tei, they all had horrible queue.

We ended up having dinner at Carls Junior, it's still crowded but manageable, and i was stuffed with a double patty portobello burger, and ended up giving 1/5 (boo claims it's 1/4) of my burger to boo, to finish up.
Boo had a Santa Fe Charboiled chicken, which tasted decent, chilli fries. He doesnt seem so stuffed to me though. Ho ho ho.

Left for a short spin at Mount Faber, before heading over to Rochester Park to meet Roy and sheila.
We had 2 bottles of dessert wine, side dishes, and cigar and made merry.
Roy drank most of it, as boo, sheila and i weren't too good at holding our liquor.
It was a matter of who turned the reddest. Haha.

25 Feb
Went over to Plaza Singapura to catch a movie. We caught Protege, which i think is a good show, but the story line is pretty much in line with the same style as infernal affairs.
We had dinner at Cafe Cartel, and the food serving there, is as crazy as Carl's.
Just eating the chicken thigh up was about all that i can eat. While he had St Louis ribs i think.

2 days of good food is going well down to our waist. Haha.

My sweet boo boo, insisted that i should get a cake, which led us to stop by West Coast Mac, for an Apple Crumbie!
Apple crumbie cutting ceremony is documented in Boo's cam.. so i emerged from NUS with apple crumbi in my tummy, and 6 mosquito bites on my right leg.

Saddest discovery for the night, the NUS Arts canteen that we used to hang around back then, is gone! That was where i celebrated my first birthday with Boo 3 years back, so we made do with the enginnering fac.

But still essentially, i had a Happy birthday!
I'm glad i enjoyed myself, and still managed to hand in HRM. Whooppee!!!!

I fell asleep, shortly after taking this picture with my muffin.

Poor sick Daphy

Chinese New Year 2007

Hah! The bad thing about finally having free time to do anything i want, is to be stranded home by the rain and be SICK. Bah! Nothing beats the physical torture of having to cough your lungs out, or have a very bad leaking nosed. Yes, "ah m currantly speaking lyk dis becoz of my nosed" with my bad bad cold.

I so want to go out and shop, party, and have fun.
Now that i've got the time, i've finally gotten a little list of stuff that i've wanted! hahahah!

Oh well, in anycase, pictures coming up - as promised! *grinz*

First day of CNY, while visiting grandaunts and whatnots.
Da and i were kinda bored, sleepy and tired.
The lack of sleep..
You see, after Reunion dinner the night before, we headed over to Chinatown, to get myself some of that jelly that i've craved for. Squishing ourselves into the crowd, weaving in and out, in and out, with millions of sweaty arms brushing past me.... we could barely see anything.

An hour later, we gave up, and headed over to Xen Bar for alittle salsa, until the crowd downstairs dispersed alittle. I salsaed a little with the pros!!!
But being the typical beginner, I dance like a dork, but who cares?!

When Da and i finally emerged from Xen bar, the crowd was manageable, but unfortunately, very much Jelli-Less. =( There wasn't any jelly in sight! *pouts*
We ended up buying Pussy Willows at a dollar a bunch. Hahaha.

We bought 2 bunches, and the pussy willow uncle asked if i was japanese. "??!??"
Very random - must be that bad chinese that i spoke probably.
*

Yes, the lack of a haircut, forced me to go into styling them when i feel like it. It's not too bad here is it?
I need to figure out my hair directions soon, because i am looking like an unkempt idiot walking around most of the time.

Immediate vanity to get a hair cut this instant, VS Gritting my teeth, look ugly to grow my hair long. Gah... disgusting combination!

Third day of Chinese New year, we visited friend's place. Going around to Winston's, Roys, and Boo's place, it's fun! pictures taken from sheila's camera.

We ended our night with a sumptuous, at Tuft city. Had seafood, and it's yummy.

How man and woman shower.

Boo sent me this link for a video clip.
Funny!

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/412867/how_to_shower_men_women/

and yes, happy birthday to me! I'm officially 24! a year to go, and i'll hit my mid twenties.
Oh joy.

as mentioned. Birthday pictures to come after 28th Feb. =)

I chose seal seal as my present.
Cute? Yah... i know, so old already still buy toys. But seal seal is soooo cute!
Thank you boo! Muark!

miserable week

Miserable! It summerises how i'm feeling at the moment.
With HRM due after my birthday, and Leadership management due soon after on the 28!
i'm so totally not going to have much of a happy birthday!

Having spent the whole of Wednesday night reading up on Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple. Yes, i actually bothered to walk in, to SIM Management House at Namly Drive, borrowed biography of Steve Jobs, started reading at 6pm in the evening, and finished the entire book at 5am in the morning (with random long breaks in between).
Reading in the name of research, anything, but to start working on the actual thing. *grin*

*
Developed a sore throat when i woke up on Thursday for Leadership management project meeting, which i attributed to the lack of sleep, Thursday lessons in the afternoon is definitely too taxing for me.

I packed up, and headed home, after attending half of my Distribution Channel class.
It's a very bad combination of Menstral cramps and sore throat.
Woke up for dinner, and still feeling wonky, i realised that i missed Salsa classes in the napping process. Boo.

I dread the feeling of ingesting too much phlegm in my system. Gross!
*
Friday's the worst. As i battle a splitting headache, rising temperature, sore throat that developed into cough...and slight flu, chills and feeling warm. Gah! I could recall vaguely that charismatic leadership, Steve Jobs and other related stuff kept popping up in my sleep, as i toss and turn throughout the night. So much for rested sleep -_-.

Seems really impossible, but would fancy recovering from misery, before i turn 24.

Now to head back to Human Resource Management literature review again. =(
Life is good, isn't it?
*
On the brighter side of life, Boo took leave for Saturday and Sunday, to celebrate my birthday for me! If it wasn't for the fact that 2 projects are due soon after, we'll probably be out of Singapore by now.

It's also one of those rare chance where my birthday coincides with the Chinese New Year!

I'll upload the chinese new year pictures, as soon as i've settled my projects, as well birthday related stuff alright?
Til then..

enthusiasm and following through

I'm feeling particularly pissed and upset at this moment.

I hate it when someone yanks something that i value about, into my weakness, without even bother about looking at MY perspective.

What seems so wrong to you, might not necessary mean it's bad for me.
Say my enthusiasm for example, yeah, i may be enthusiastic about endless possibilities and all, but IT is WRONG to say that it's a bad trait, when i do not follow through any projects or task that i started.

It takes a freaking rigid person to not be able to understand my perspective, because people who knows me better, would know that i'm exactly the sort who relishes the process of doing and starting a project more, than to look at the end product, and announced that i've completed my project/product.
Meaning that just by looking at the end product is not going to make me the happiest idiot around, rather its the process that i enjoyed better.

I'm not a conventional person who'll "enjoy fruits of labour".
For one, i am not a farmer.
Secondly, what's the point of toiling half your life away, just to eat the damn fruit up in less than 5 mins?
Fine! Given that the freaking tree produces like 50 or more fruits, and so you multiply each fruit by 5 mins, and you get like 250 mins of "enjoyment".

This is a load of horseshit! It's something that the ancestors cooked up to make sure you dont starve or something.

I on the other hand, would prefer looking at the entire thing in another point of view.
If i plant a tree and follow through, i'll know that i'll have a fruit tree.
If i plant a tree, and never follow through, what would i get?

Plenty or alternatives and surprises!
1. I'll be surprised, if the tree did pop up, since i didnt follow through
2. Might still be an empty patch of land
3. Weeds might pop out instead...and it'll be interesting to find out what freaking weed it'll be
4. Nothing might happen.

What's so wrong about not following through?
I went through the process, learnt something about it, and i dont have to look at the freaking tree to exclaim to the whole world that it is my tree!

Yet the next time i decided that i'll want to plant a tree again.. i might either consider the possibilities, find a smarter and quicker method to do it, and eventually - the only reason why i'll want to do it, would be to pass time!

SO WHAT IS SO BLOODY WRONG WITH NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH?

If it's important enough, like you've said about not being a trait that my boss would appreciate, when i start working... i'll have to follow the process through, because it's work. These bunch of people pay me, to finish it up. Work get it, not personal entertainment and enjoyment.

I could finish up the jeans that i dissected. But would i really wear it when i'm done making it into a skirt?? What am i going to do with it? I could too finish crocheting a sweater, but would i wear it too? But you know what, you're pointing at the fact that i can't be bothered with completing my driving. Short of a few lessons and to pass the advanced theory, i'm already so near to getting a license. I know. But i simply dont have the time to follow through.
If you freaking chauffer me to BBDC everyday. I'll find the time! Give me a car, i'll show you how to follow through

There's a plenty of stuff that i'll follow through, because i'm sure i'll use it.
If there's no purpose for it, why finish it? Or worst, pushing yourself to finish something mihgt not necessary be good either. IF you didnt put you heart into finish the job... it's considered slipshod. Then you'll be going on about yet another bad trait etc.

Yes, you may argue and say why start on it?
Well, at the end of the day, it's better than not starting it. At least i took some form of knowledge with me, while i was doing it. It's not the end product that matters mom, it's the process of it.
At least i could say i've tried. Just that i couldnt see the point of trying harder to finish it, for the sake of finishing it.

No one's perfect, but at least just respect it.
Not following through is not about being lazy, or the lack of determination. There's just so many more things to do, than to finish up a useless bit.
The only reason why we had that conversation, is because you love me. Yeah i know.
And the only reason why i'm blogging it, is because i feel so wronged.

pressies, pressies, pressie

Boo requested for a birthday wishlist. I decided up a wish list. But after doing up the design...
i'm blanking out on the part of WHAT i want. Haven't been shopping around too much recently, so i'm kinda lacking on the wish and want part. oops!

Garry went on a holiday with his GF, and they got us this! Haha cute portion of the packaging that came along with a little carrier box.

This is the actual version of our gift! So cute right??

Happy day!

WE celebrated out 3rd year anniversary on the 13th!
Our theme for the day was : Happy Day! Boo named it! Haha!
When i was done with school, boo picked up a very cranky and tired me from school, and we went to Guthrie House for a "light" snack at Venezia.

Being a really hungry girl, i decided on getting myself a seafood marinara pasta, and while he ordered a spi-NACH and ham quiche. It's pretty yummy, except for the fact that it was 4 plus in the afternoon, and i slurped up a whole plate of pasta. Having eaten so much, Boo was rather worried about me being able to eat dinner later.

Can't quite remember why we ended up at my place, but.. oh wait, i remember!
i fell asleep while waiting for toilet boy to be done in the toilet...
We both took a 30min nap ...and left home at 6 plus.

Had dinner at Jacks Place. Yes i ate a full course just 3 hours later (hah! aren't you amazed at the depth of my appetite?). Turns out that the Jack's special steak that i ordered, didn't taste too special *pouts*
But i enjoyed the course nonetheless.

Boo decided that he needed a walk and fresh air..so we went strolling along East Coast Park. It was breezy, and pretty tranquilizing, until this bunch of ah bengs started to blast their techno songs on their Van's sound system. Gahhh!

Had to get home early, because OTD was due the next day. How disgusting can it be, for a project to be due on Valentines Day?!!

Conclusion for the day, it was a Happy Day Boo! muarks~

updates on personality stuff

Ben found this website that describes my personality better than the previous one i found, while doing the myer briggs personality test. For one, it's more formal and detailed on its descriptions.

dear Justin

I've been stuck in school - attempting to finish up OTD (organisational theory and design)triplets project with Mark and Justin, that's due on Valentines day!
Gah!
Weird deadline, and there's still so much to do, and have been breathing in too much computer lab air.

Justin couldnt make it for Friday's discussion, and I being bored, decided to exaggerate facts in my recap email to him - i sent him an updated version of our report as of friday, i've included a very serious looking cover letter, just for fun.

Sure hope i didnt create a big guilt pool for the dude with that prank email la.
--

Salsa isn't going too well with me.
Can't figure out if my expectations is too high, or is the class moving too slow for my liking.
Whatever it is, i had my first try at real Salsa dancing over at Union Square on Thursday, and i'd just leave it as - screwed basics.

In any case, being such a snob of a feminist as always, I'm having a tough time resisting the lead during the dance. Why should the guy determine my step of movements?

Gah!

loads of pictures!

I took a whole lot of picture, and i've finally found the time to load them all up.
If you haven't realised, my previous few entries were really pictureless.

Looking at my pictures, reminded me how much i needed a haircut. I am so bored with my current look, that i practically dread looking at myself in the mirror. Kate (my hairstylist), suggested either a really short funky/punkish cut, or to grit my teeth and to grow my hair alittle longer, before she plays with alittle perm to give me the desired volume that i've always wanted.

Boo took pictures of me, while i was digging my crab. We had dinner at No Signboard restarant last week. Chilli Crab is yummy! Just look at my happy expression! Woo!

We headed over to Siglap Coffee Club after my crab dinner, and just when we were looking for parking space, we saw Joshua! So he joined us for coffee and desserts, and we did some catching up.

Went blading at ECP after coffee and desserts sometime around 12 plus in the night.
The weather was really good, as it took me a long time to feel warm and sweaty. Haven't been blading for a long time, and i miss the breeze u get while blading!!

Boo decided that he's finally brave enough to venture into Mala hotpot for dinner recently! We went over to the usual hotpot place that i patronise along beach road, and there you go, his first attempt at the hot pot! I'm surprised that even on a weekday, business is good for them...seats were fully taken!

He decided to take a picture of the golden mushrooms that i took. The plate itself, was already my third helping, of similar portions. Yes, golden mushroom is my latest food craze, especially when u cook it in the spicy soup.. super yummy!!
Boo looked at the mushrooms and cringed at the sight of my third helping. Hahaha

We left the place stuffed, and walked abit. We met his colleagues for supper after they're done with work ( that's like about 2hours later). I'm amazed at how much i can eat! I ordered a banana and maple syrup toast from Tong shui cafe at Bugis! Definitely gonna look gluttony soon..
Been eating waaaayyy too much recently!

Yums!

sunday flitting

Erm, a late happy 21st birthday to Da, since it's like way past midnight!
You're on your express train to 30! *grinz*

Just look at me, i'm approaching my mid twenties soon... *pouts*

In anycase, Sunday passed too quickly for my liking, as i flitted around, doing various stuff the entire day.

Bouncing up early at 2 plus from bed, i declared tt i'm in a mood for flea market shopping today, so i made my way over to Zouk with Ben.

Saw lots of people there, like Jacq, Christina, Brenda, blah blah blah and even my own sister and friends. Didn't get to buy much stuff, as i was cashless, (promptly forgetting to get cash at the ATM, in the excitement of a flea market) i relied on all the cash that Ben has.. $40.
Lucky for me, i managed to shop within budget, where I found this causal white dress that cost me 10 bucks, and its regretable to say that i forgot all about the haggling bit, taking it at face value, and paid for it just like this. The transaction lasted for less than 3 mins. Bummer!

Next i chanced upon this pair of VNC shoes that i've eyed on last season, but didnt get a chance to buy it, coz they ran out of sizes. I gave the shoes a try, and viola! It fits perfectly! The girls mending the space gasp in delight and said that i'm like cinderella, as i was the first girl to fit into the shoe, and the conversation carried on from there. I made new friends from there.

Remembering my white dress encounter, i made a feeble attempt to haggle for the price, despite the asking price of $12, and asked if i could get it for $10. After pointing out to me that the shoe has never been worn, i decided to pay for the price and shut up...after all, VNC itself doesnt even give that kind of price for a brand new shoe at the store..

We left shortly, and headed over to Marina Square for Coffee, to do some catching uo, as i havent seen the dude (BEN) for like a million years...

After coffee, rushed over to meet mommy for dinner. Had La mien at Crystal Jade, then walked home. Mommy has this thing about walking to and fro to Holland, instead of taking a bus, since she hates the parking situation of the place.

Then headed over to Samar, at Arab Street with Zoe and her cousin+brother, and at a go at the Sheesha pipe. I doubt i'll try it again... somewhat didn't like the idea of inhaling flavoured stuff, and in our case - it was inhaling apple scent, into my system.
My pot of Ceylon tea was served in a cute mini glass, and Zoe's drink tasted horrid.
Will post my smoking pictures when i get them alright?

Muark!
