Mood pendulums
Moody tantrums, erratic state of mind, being angsty..
I have no idea what are the causes to my eccentric temperament, but i am definitely in a foul mood.
On a particular matter, i cannot quite decide if i'm overtly sensitive on my part, but my intuition tells me that someone dislikes my demeanor, and is secretly trying very hard to surpass me in whatever she sees in me ( i swear i'm talentless in it), so i have absolutely no idea why she'll fancy rat-racing me.
Not that it AFFECTS me in anyway, but being a girl, I sense the brewing animosity, and it is extremely appalling and offending!
Like an irritating miniscule splinter, i just have to get this off my chest and say this:
Everyone has talents of their own which makes us unique, and it's YOUR choice to work your talents to your advantage, rather than to eye others with green eyes.
-
All my life, girls either hate my guts or love me for who i am.
Not that i care ( the only reason why i'm bitching about this, is because i detest being singled out for no apparent reason, and it pisses me off big time, afterall what is the point of benchmarking a pear to an apple? To vie for the position of best fruit in the basket?! It's absurb!)
So let's just establish the facts loud and clear.
1) I AM obnoxious by nature, it's embedded deeply in me. I talk as if i own the lands, seas and skies, and that i'm good at everything!
2) I exude snotty aura. Arrogance oozes out from my pores every minute and second.
3) Everyone knows that beneathe my aloof exterior, i am rubbish. I talk nonsense, and crack unfunny jokes.
4) I spend half my life distinguishing myself from the average crowd because i loathe being compared to/with - i am unprecedented.
5) I am a very straight forward person. If something's not right or could be done better in my opinion, i say it like i think it - afterall, it is not within my character to prettify words.
It is just too bad that you're not in sync with reality.
Feedbacks and criticisms falls between a fine line, take your pick.
There's no love lost for me anyway. Hahahahha.

grumpy friday
Deepavali/Diwali - Festival of Lights.
I took pictures of the pretty decorations, that my neighbour painstakingly placed in front of their house, as well as the sides of the lift landing areas.
Decoration comes in form of powder or flour like material that is scattered on the floor to form white outlines of the design, then filled with colored glitter, or colored rice grains. Flowers, and not forgetting the flickering of the candle lights, livened up the common area for the few days. It was just too bad that i took pictures in the day, instead of the night.
Pictures, pictures. My usual affair with the camera. of which, i've gained weight on my face, if you haven't already noticed.
There's also my experiment with my mini collection of false eye lashes, because i was too lazy to remove my make up, after screwing up the eye part.
So using false lashies to cover up seem to be the most hassle free solution.
As i have been rudely awakened EARLY this morning, by the loud conversations that goes between my mom and sister, i am sitting grumpily in front of my laptop, posting this entry.
There's quite abit of posting for me to catch up, but i'm not in the best frame of mind to do so now.
For a sneak preview of what i might blog about in my coming entries:
- Venturing into Boat Quay on a Saturday for for Zu Sheng's birthday party (Zoe where are the pictures?)
- Pictures for Monday/Tuesday's Chalet entry + my 3 hour stay in the kitchen, battling potatoes and eggs.
- Wednesday's angsty Mambo at Zouk.
- Thursday's lesson of the many uses of Lemon
and maybe my lazy and grumpy Friday. *smiles*

SISF 2007
The event was an eye opener for a noob like me, as the various studios took the chance to showcase their talents through scheduled performances, and in summary, there was loads of dancing involved, and here's a glimpse of the event!
Joanna and I fooling around with the SISF banner.
Audrey and I. Being very shy newbies, we spent most of our time observing and watching people dance, so we entertained ourselves with picture taking! Audrey seem to have perpetual good skin that GLOWS! I am so envious!
Group shot (left to right): John, Daphne, Adi, girl next to Audrey (i forgot her name), Audrey and Leon or leonard or something like that. I'm sorry that i'm really bad with names.
Candid moment. Mid dancing with John. I think i look vaguely gleeful because i made a mistake while dancing. Hahahahha
-
I think i should head off for bed again, seeing that the sun has already risen.
Nights!
Halloween at Zouk.
Grinning like a kitty kat, i'm so glad to be out, instead of mugging at home!
I enjoyed myself thoroughly that night. I was so physically drained, that it took me at least 3 days worth of sleep, to bounce back to my usual self.
Pictures with the boys... in the clockwise direction starting on the left: We have Justin, Gi Whang, Robin and Kenny.
Pictures with the girlies.. Zoe, Lailin, Waiyan and Steph
and not forgetting Robin's "Scandal worthy" shots, which were 2/3 candid, I decided to pose gamely for the camera to complete the last shot. Hahahaha. If you ask me, it's all about capturing images at the angles, to achieve the scandal effect!! Amusing!
Left to right, Waiyan, Felicia and Daphne.
I found myself a new friend that night. Hello Felicia!
I was later told by the rest that she's supposed to resemble Vivien.
Personally, i wouldn't say that Vivien and Felicia look alike, but they do have a general flavour that you can't quite point a finger or associate to, but they each have a personality of their own that makes them uniquely them. Through sheer coincidence, i've dug up a picture of similar sequence just for fun!
With Waiyan and i being the constant, and the 2 ladies standing in the center.
What do you think?
*grinz*
post exam silly updates.
Faced with too much idle time on hand, too many plans and projects in my head, i don't quite know where to start!
Now for the usual idiosyncrasy updates..
Cafe dunnowhatitsname.
I met Benjamin for lunch after my Strategic Managment exams, and with only an hour of sleep before the papers, i was practically functioning on reserve energy, and had a perpetual dazed look on my face.
Back to the cafe, the laid back ambience, friendly staff with their menu written on blackboard, I would say that it's a rather quirky idea.
I stood around and stared at the huge blackboard feeling like a little kid again. I decided on the basil chicken sandwich and cream of mushroom soup, while Ben had their chinese style chicken salad, which taste unique and nice, according to my palates.
The desserts look more optimistic than the main course, but being tired, my stomach could not function, so we skipped desserts.
I'll definitely drop by again to give the pretty cupcakes, and fluffy waffles a try, and this time round, i'll take better pictures, remember the name of the cafe, and clue you in on the exact location of the cafe.
Being bored, i spotted a "7" on my foot while watching the telly at Grandad's place.
So the story goes....i think i lost my balance, while dancing at union not too long ago, and in my attempt to regain my balance, my dance heels took a dig on my other foot, before meeting the ground; therefore the appearance of "7", accompanied with a bruise. Could that be a lucky sign?
Doubt it. Lately, i seem to be collecting lots of ugly bruises on my thighs and legs. I have been bumping into corners of the wall, door frames and corners of the table, for random and stupid reasons.
Being lazy, i usually walk around the house in the dark, to think that after living in the house for almost 20 years, miscalculations still happens and wham! My elbows said hi to the corner of the wall.
Similar stories goes for different furniture parts and body parts, and it might just be a sign for me to stay away from home more often! Hahaha.
Cooped up at home, i stifled my boredom with many random things, and one of the weird habits that i've picked up, was flyer reading. From food coupons, cosmetic product launches, laundry services, new condos, and even phone bills, yes i read almost every readable piece of paper that found its way into my house. Back to my discovery of MacDonalds delivery's newly introduced menu - the gourmet meal (available only for delivery according to flyer information). There is the Grilled chicken chop meal, Teriyaki salmon meal, Beef Bolognaise pasta, and lastly the Forest Mushroom pasta.
After contemplating for hours, I decided to order the grilled chicken chops, and waited in anticipation of my gourmet meal.
Side tracking a little, i am unable to grasp why the Mac marketers would call it a meal, when it doesnt come with any drinks or side dishes. I repeat, no drinks. When questioned, the phone operator merely said that it is a meal because it came with potatoes, brocoli and carrots. -_-"
Still i waited in anticipation, and the gourmet meal arrived at my doorsteps, warm on the top, icy cold at the bottom of the bowl. I had to microwave it again, to make it decent for consumption.Surprisingly, for a microwave packed food it exceeded my expectations.
The grilled chicken tasted decent, and i definitely wasn't expecting such generous servings of veg, just look at the all the carrots staring at me in the face! I couldnt bring myself to eat them, so i took a picture of the abandoned carrots. :)
The verdict? My gourmet meal cost me almost 11 bucks and it doesnt come with drinks.
Delivery cost has apparently been increased to 3bucks.
Saddest fact of all, the corn in a cup cost me $2.55 despite having just purchased a meal.
It's definitely an expensive supper.
Spotted a cute pom pom chick sitting on a crate of eggs. Cute!
