Happy parents day

Every year this day, it's the day my parents first became "parents".

I'm grateful that I have little to worry for, during the formative years of my life.
With their blessings, there are still many things that I get away with that many probably have to shoulder at my age.

It's hardwork being responsible for anyone, much lest a kid like me.

You know, all the awesome attitude and grades that I had back as a kid.

( i just discovered recently, that they used to worry whether I'd have friends in school, given my temper and quirky personality)
hahahha.


I haven't been the easiest kid to bring up.
I admit.


It's a miracle that they haven't dumped me in the bin halfway through when I'm being difficult.

My brother swears that's exactly what I'm capable of doing, to my future kids, given my temper.
Lol.

So today I celebrate the day my parents became parents.
Happy daddy and mommy anniversary.
Thank you for loving me the way I am.

*my dad's not into taking pictures, therefore... It's tough hunting for a proper daddy picture.

Eye mask fail

Out of boredom during the festive season, I hovered over to the Sasa store near home on the quest for Beauty toys.

I spotted the panda skin care that caught my attention back in Sasa Hongkong.
In my excitement, I grabbed the panda eye mask, just because I've got too much face mask, waiting for me at home.
Zzzz

So panda eye it was!
Lying down masking the eye, this has got to be the most fail pair ( material construction) that I've ever tried to date!
Rwar.
The gel patch wouldn't even sit properly on my face without bubbling up.
Definitely annoyingly.

It's supposed to reduce wrinkles!
It's inability to sit properly on the surface of my skin, makes it a mystery on how it's going to work its miracle.
Blah.

Lesson to self: cute packaging is never self explanatory on its efficiency.
$3 wrongly spent!

On other news, the house is 3/4 completed with a few more finishing touches to fret about after the festivity.

The brother has embarked on his manhood quest : to serve his national service later in the morning.

Lastly, the dog's been extremely intelligent and well behaved ( we've been bringing her out for house visits the past 3 days)
I think I'm going to have some repercussion behaviour as a result from too much visiting/outing, that she'll be upset if we were to leave her at home by herself, once the festivity ends.
Tsk!

I'll sort out the pictures once I summon enough determination to retrieve my mac from the cupboard.

Gone for 15 days is no joke!
Packing in advance for various climates is like mega tiring.
It was 18 deg, followed by 13 degrees followed by like 4 degrees. Ahhhhh
I miss all my spring summer wardrobe and my heels!

Human says bow ties are usually meant for boys, therefore I'm not!

I think human did a better job with my eyebrows this time round.
Not sure if the human is ever going to send me for proper grooming, at the rate she's experimenting with the scissors and me.

We had an advance party for 2012 end celebration, and somehow we ended up sitting down to do a psych test. 240 questions is kinda mind boggling, but fun at 5 in the morning.

Went shopping with my twinnie and we wore the bow headband that I got for the both of us.

Post shopping, rushed home to prepare for Claudia's sister's wedding dinner.

It was raining, and the mommy is kind enough to drive me to the venue, so i'm there dry and pretty. Love!

I hate how the groomers always make the dog look as if she's a boy.

I will personally see that my dog is girlified in my own limited scissor skill.

Just need to work on the eyebrow technique.
