Nike eyebrows

Sammi cheng had her Nike eyebrows back when I was a kid.

Trixie has it too. 

Hahahaha 

I'm not sure how we had that look for her. But it was unintended.

Happiness is all in a Sunday.

Sunday turned out pretty good! 

Woke up happy, despite the fact that it was morning. 

I also got a lift the flea market with all my stuff. Luckily, I had the foresight to buy  an additional set of black ball dessert the night before and brought it out along to entertain myself for the flea. 

Managed to sell almost all my stuff that needed to be cleared, I also ogle at Claud's stuff and she gave them to me :D 

Met the fam for dinner, and we tried out Soup Broth Asia tonight. 

the food is quite disappointing if you ask me. Considering that I gobble Soup Spoon weekly like a true blue soup fan, the eastern version of Soup Spoon is disappointing like an unfulfilling meal. 

That's alright, it wasn't too bad either. Just not as good.

The fam proceeded over to the Marks and Spencer food department, and we did a quick loot. 

The brother and I selected anything that looked yummy or excitingly promising to us.

That's our rule of thumb whenever we raid the super marts for titbits.

Mom refused to drive, and after dinner was too lazy to walk, therefore we bus hopped our way home.

The entire journey home was spent eyeing at bus timing listed on the boards at each stop, just so that we could get seats, and yet not miss that important bus home. 

If there was a secret camera installed, it would have been quite funny, coz we were making so much noise about hoping that the bus we were in (bus A) would eventually over take bus B, just because bus B would stop right in front of our house, and bus A wouldn't. 

Yet the only reason why we were on Bus A, was because the mother doesn't want to walk to the the stop to board Bus B. 

I refused to alight bus A, because Bus B didn't have seats. 

Hahahaha. 

Hilarious "argument" 

We ended up with what we wished for. A seated journey, bus hopped over to bus B as planned and got home fat and lazy.

We ended our Sunday night with a ginormous mango. 

Trixie received mango as payment in kind for her efforts to model with the mango.

Thank you for such a fantastic day. 

I feel super super loved and blessed just to be happy like this. 

Of course more days like this to come in the future!

Random things I do I China

Played with something new in my previous trip for the ShenZhen fair

Its called the Robstep. 

I called it the fake Segway.

It was quite fun!

Less bulky as compared to the Segway. 

Playing with it, I realised that it moves rather briskly, responded well, and most importantly, Save lots of energy when you travel by foot. No more walking!

Cool part? 

It's so easy to manoeuvre, even when wearing heels!

Crix took this for me the other day after lunch, kinda cool huh?

It was my comfy day. I wore my grey floral dress with pastel pink stripe cardigan, and new padded sandals from Shen zhen.

Right, I don't typically wear blue, but this dress is an exception. 

It's a vintage sort of pretty, and so I wore it out for Les Affaires shop launch event at Marina Bay Sands.

Missed out on the fashion show because I was hungry, but better late, than never. Attendance is more important right? 

Les affaires is now located at MBS near gong Cha; the bubble tea shop, and also at plaza sing, located right next to Gap on the second floor.

We're growing!

Dad sent me the link for one of the interviews he did for the recent Shenzhen fashion fair that we took part in.

The 3 day fair was super tiring, I was on my foot so much, that my feet barely belongs to me anymore. 

All those long hours of standing in heels that I did all these years for exhibition and model were like foundational. 

This is like wow. I need to buy a new pair of heels to appease my feet.

So I did. Bought myself a new pair of leather strappy heels with good padding to make life better for the next 2 days. 

On the last day, I changed into my high cut Isabel marant inspired wedge shoes when the fair ended. Who cares if it looks alittle odd with my fancy casual dress? I'm just an off duty designer with a hurting foot. 

Hhahaha

But hey! Looking at this interview makes it all worthwhile! 

It's heavily laced in Chinese, therefore I shan't include the link here to kill anyone. 

Being back in Singapore is good. 

I'm back to being model/ talent manager, and it's a good diversion from seeing too much fabrics and cloths for now.

This is what I call creating a good balance between what I love doing most.

I know, looking at this picture, I'm very much my dad's daughter. 

Not so much of mommy's girl.

Haha

Psyching myself up for Autumn, even though it's hot summer in Singapore. 

Actually i'm also planning my wardrobe for my coming trip to Shenzhen, and I think I shall wear more of my own stuff this coming trip.

Maybe I should just pack this get up into my luggage while i'm at it.

Feather keys!

My new mini project!

Feather keychain in 5 minutes flat.

I got Sick and tired of conventional keychain sold at the mall. 

Decided to get something light and interesting! After some contemplation, I decided on feathers! 

So here we go, purple feathers. 

My new weightless key accessory. 

ps: mother dampened my excitement on my new key accessory.

She says: we'll see how long these feathers will survive. -_-"

So much for  optimism and supportive love from my mom.
