Ethereal Feel

I'm rather into the ethereal finishing type of pictures lately.
With the lens flare, bokeh, blurry, fantasy type of feel.
Might be the fact that all I wanna do lately, is to escape from reality and live in a world of my own.

Been attempting to capture them with my point and shoot camera, and have since given up hop on capturing nice ones in Tibet, now that i'm back in Singapore.
Sigh.
But looking at them, they're really pretty.

The imaginary feel these pictures portray makes me feel dreamy, happy and unreal.
Hahaha.

As usual, I attempted with random pictures that I like... and here's my shot at it.
First picture with slight touch ups here and there... like adding alittle color on my cheeks to give a "glow" finish.

After my attempt in the "ethereal treatment" which consist of some flare, Bokeh, and mixtures of filters to achieve the feel.

Not quite there, i'm still working on it, and this is only my first attempt.
Hah!

The chain -on-the-shoulder dress is now available at bowtique in 3 colors. White, Black and the purple that i'm wearing!
Love how it fits when I wore it to Zouk a few nights ago.
Please support my bowtique by checking out my shop, as well as to get your friends to have a look see too!

Love lots!

Bear and their bile.

I chanced upon this article shared by a friend on Facebook, and was horribly distraught upon reading it.
It spoke about the heartbreaking story about the Moon bear's long suffering over the attempt of their bile (for "medicinal" use).
I weeped about how painful it was for the bear, the conditions they were subjected to for YEARS, and how this bear mommy would rather kill her own cub, than to allow Humans to cause it prolonged suffering before killing herself.
I would too, if my child has to suffer that fate.
You can read the story/article here

Friends who know me, will know how much I love animals in general.
I cry at every Hamster's death, and get excited at every dog, Yak, chicken that I see, and every death and cruelty affects me alot.

The last time I weeped this badly over animal cruelty and blogging it was in 2008 over the PETA clip I saw. (I'm gonna save water, and do myself the biggest favour by not watching the video again) Those interested can click on my link.

Perhaps campaigns and outcries as such are a matter of #firstworldpains - where we stick our noses into other people's business and way of life, judging and telling them what's wrong, what's right, and some may argue that if i'm all for animal rights, I might as well go vegetarian just so that no animal would be harmed etc etc.

All I'm saying is, it's not right to take a life. But if we have to - do it quickly and painlessly, as like 90% of the general population would wish for, when facing death, and kill only when necessary.
Prolonging suffering, and consciously doing evil within your control is such a horrible thing!

Having just returned from Tibet, with a mind fresh on my conversation with Rinpoche Kunga on the topic of Karma - I truly hope that these cruel people would repent and just stop hurting living creatures for the good of themselves and the good of other living creatures.

A good part of stories usually stems from China, and I seriously begin to doubt the moral reasoning behind them Chinese.
I dont care if they want to establish fake Apple stores and sell counterfeit products for profit, but I draw the line at causing hurt to living things.

From hurting animals, inflicting poison to humans by selling fake eggs, melamine milk, poisonous pork laced with Clenbuterol just to name a few, there is something extremely wrong with their moral standpoint.

Yes I do understand that when people are desperate to make a living, they'll do anything just to keep their family alive, and being raised in a *developing/ developed country made me very ignorant to all the sufferings that poverty has to offer.
(*sorry, still can't decide if Singapore is developed or still developing coz sometimes Singaporeans are still so... backward)

However, at the cost of hurting other living beings just for survival - that's not right.
The karma one accumulates is just terrible.

I'm not going to impose my spiritual beliefs here, and rattle on about karma, but I draw the line at moral ethics and their governance, and I believe everyone has the power to make a difference in making the lives of every bear, dog, cow, goat and Yak better - and I pray and hope that China would wake up its idea soon.

My quick post-Tibet complains

Its been slightly over 24 hours since touching Home ground.
Going to Tibet made me contemplate life from a total new perspective, especially for the TOILET -that would be my wish for the entire CHINA. Please improve your toilets.

The weather was pretty harsh for summer.
Imagine this... 4 degrees in the day with sunshine on the mountain top, and they call that Summer.
Pfffft!
You'll think that being closer to the sun would make you warmer... but nope.
I was freezing my ass off.

I'm now back in Singapore, I'm feeling extremely lethargic, with a braille like textured skin to boot.
It reads "BAD SKIN"   :(

It is as if I've some constellation formation smacked right across the forehead and somewhere under the eyebrows/above the eyelid..
weird place for clogged pores to evolve into pimples.
They look absolutely Ugly, Bumpy and Angry from my itchy fingers.

Clearing my skin with my Shiseido Black Mask as I type out this post,
truly hoping that I could avoid the meteorite from erupting onto the surface of my skin.
The attempt to scrub the face to "clear off surface dirt" yesterday night did little to ease the braille formation, so I'm pinning my hopes on my Black Clay Mask.

Please let the black clay mask work, and the skin be alright.
*amen*

Lengthy Tibetan post would come later, when I overcome inertia and aesthetic/facial woes.

KThxBye

*Just peeled off my mask, and spent the last 10 mins staring at the debris peeled off along with the Shiseido mask. ( Yes, I've got this mad habit of staring at the pore debris collected each time I peel off my mask or pore pack. It's sick, but it makes me happy to know that my pores can breathe now!)

I'm amazed at how much junk was clogging my pore - because it hit a new high score
It's no wonder that I could harvest pimple in weird parts of the face.
I'm officially blaming it on the pollution and harsh dry weather in the mountain top.
It is insane.

Just slapped on my Laneige Water Sleeping Pack to rehydrate my skin, and I'm all set for bed.
Good night.

Cloud room, Rainbow cakes, and Prayer Wheels..

A room full of Clouds.
How pretty right!
If I have a huge house in future, with a room to spare - I might just leave a room full of clouds just for meditation and stoning purpose.
So pretty and calming!

Back when I was a kid, the cartoons I watched always depicted clouds like marshmallows textures.

That was love at first sight with the clouds.
Wishing that I'll get to visit the clouds someday, just so that I'd be able to bounce around the cloud like a bouncy castle, because the white, fluffy texture looks extremely inviting!

First time I met a "cloud" was when Mommy and Pops brought me to Genting Highlands in Malaysia.
It was kinda sad to know that "Clouds" aren't fluffy and soft like marshmellow in reality, just misty and misty.

I spent half the morning chasing after the "clouds"... while the parents watched, becoming a soggy kid at the end of it.
Not bad for a 3 years old with cloudy ambitions..
Haha.

On other news,
I shall attempt to bake myself a Rainbow cake when i'm back from Tibet!
Look! The cake is soooooo pretty!

I want a slice of it now!
Rwar!!!

I hope to capture lots of pretty shots while I'm away, that is if the trusty camera will live up to its usual standards!
Also, i'm totally looking forward to spinning the prayer wheel while I'm there.
I'm gonna spin lots and lots and lots of them, itchy finger style!
heh heh heh.
Will be back on the 19th
See ya then!

Marching on.

Alright I'm taking a break from work.
I swear my entire body's so exhausted from sitting still that i'm practically aching all over.

Oh and my poor eyes!
Trust me, I scrutinize every inch and pore of my pictures, before uploading.
I know I'm a sucker for details.
*nods*

I'm pushing myself so hard that I'm ready to wave the white flag pretty soon.
BUT I SHANT GIVE UP!
I went alittle nuts, and started digging quotes.
My favourites are...

You may lose faith on us but never on yourself ~ Optimus Prime.

Doing your best in this moment, puts you in the best place for the next moment ~ Oprah

I know!
My quote references arent' quite the most credible sources, but they make total sense alright!
Tsk!

I shalllllll.. show off some of my hardwork.
Yay! I love Show and Tell!
Hahahahha.

You should prepare yourself for an overload of Daphne.
It's time like this when I'm totally in love with myself!

I deserve all that self pimping after all the hardwork that I've put in!
Especially if you saw the originals before I turned them into this - You'll be insisting that I'm genius!

Lol.

My Harajuku Doll Dress.
Extremely in love with them and my "bunny ears" hairband.
Woots!

And if you scrutinize both pictures really really hard, I've got fuschia pink eyes!
Sister lent me her Coastal Scent color palette, and looking at it was sheer joy - I'd say it's like receiving a box of Colleen Color pencils in 120 colors when you were a kid or something like that - for my mom usually only equipped me with the 48 color basic pack for school, citing YOU DONT NEED SO MANY COLORS FOR SCHOOL > LOOK AT HOW HEAVY YOUR BAG IS!  :( I'm such a deprived kid.

Joy and glee aside, it was kinda tough, as I kept forgetting which shade of Pink I was using - it was like playing "spot the difference"
Let me show you why!

Digression aside, back to my Harajuku dress.

I kept the Blu Grey version of the Harajuku dress, as I "vowed" *ahem* to stop buying white stuff to wear. Wardrobe's overflowing with white/cream/pearl - yeah, you get the peekture.
With my peach colored bunny ears!

Blu Grey is pretty pretty too right?
and there was my Safari Lioness dress!
Pink and White glows on me.... while the Sand and Olive was Meh! Made me look like I was sick and dying.

Night watch is another of my favourite!
I kept the Teal Blue for myself, and gave Da the black version - but she happily exchanged it for the Teal Blue too, just because she's sick of Black.
I guess her anti black, is probably the same as my anti white phase at the moment.
And here's my new favourite Shorts!
The Peplum.
Ta Dah!
I like the touch of Mermaid Candy star necklace.
Makes the Monotone outfit alittle more.... colored? :)
I've decided to keept the Peplum shorts in pink, because I don't have a pink shorts?
That, and so I can secretly wear white some times, because I like to match my pink shorts with white.
Lastly before I end off, my new favourite Tigress Tee!
I know I said that I dont wear Tee Shirts a few post ago...but you have to read the fine print ok... I said I dont wear UNISEX tee shirt.
This one has a Tigress wearing Heart shaped glasses!
So It's confirm a Girlie Tee shirt!
Practically living in this Tee everytime I head over to Wavehouse.
♥ it alot!
I added the Parrot Feather "earrings" for the photoshoot. :)
Lots of accessories not uploaded yet.
I shall work hard!
But it's really time to call it a day and go shower.
That's about all that I've done up so far for Bowtique's new stuff.

Decided that it totally doesnt make sense for Bowtique to be in idle mode, until my full collection is up. Shopping should not be determined by weekly or bi-monthly collection.
It is technically an everyday thing right!

Therefore I've taken to uploading something new every other day.
*beams*

Need to shower and hit the bed.
I think i have been so stressed that I've dreamt of chirpy-twitty little birds 2 nights in a row, and waking up at 10am automatically.

* I dont usually have dreams or remember my dreams.
Neither do I wake up much in the AM.
I must be Stressed.

In my head: There must be an angel - Eurythmics
lalalalalalalalalalalala...

Just because I'm bored...

So the girls were talking about their chinese names and how the strokes would affect their overall personality and whatnots, just some weeks back, and the thing that struck me was - How the hell did they know the meaning of their chinese name?!

Fine, they had the heads up because they each consulted the chinese-dissect-your-name master (sorry, I dont know what are they called professionally), and I never saw the need to see one, and for that, I felt like I was cheated out of a conversation topic for a good 5 minutes.

I shall google up the most basic meaning of my name, just so I wont feel left out / feel like i've been cheated off an experience.
Hahah.

Well based on what i've gathered....

Great!
That essentially makes me a plum that supposedly has both brains and looks.

Why! With a name like this, by right I should be darn pretty and genius leh!

Hahahah
Who knows - without the name it could have been much worst right?

Shall stop complaining  :x

ps: I've been hard at work photoshopping.
I seriously look like a panda now, and getting quite pro at repeating the same few steps.

Everything had better fly off the shelf like hotcakes!
Wait! Make it better! I want them "Hot" like the highly sought after Coke glass I've been collecting!

Speaking of collectible glass cans, I'm TOTALLY intending to lay off MACdonalds for the ENTIRE JULY!

However, I am a proud owner of MANY MANY Coke Can Glass.
Yay! to crazy weekly MAC binges and a possible future clogged artery.

Hangers... Demand vs supply.

I randomly declared to mommy that the Clothes Hangers seems to be a precious commodity at home, and she burst out laughing.

I'm quite serious!
We never seem to have enough hangers around at home - despite the fact that she buys them ever so often.

Da and I have resorted to hiding our stash of hangers in our own "respective" hiding places", while the mother has resorted to hanger hunting.  -_-"

I swear it's like some silly hide and seek game!
Not exactly fun, coz the party with the lesser hanger always get annoyed.

Like Da's forever saying : who took my hangers again!

While mommy's tagline goes something like "where has all the hangers in the house disappeared to?!"
For the Mother uses them to hang her freshly laundered laundry.

As for me - I've resorted to 1 hanger holding out 5 dresses or something like that.
Compress whatever wardrobe space I have to accomodate to the situation.
Too much clothes, too little space to hold up all the hangers I need- that, and the lack of hanger that plagues the house.

Seems like a great solution for me, but I have to admit that my compression strategy has since killed off a couple of ancient hangers.
The ancient ones could not succumb to the tugging pressure - and cracked into pieces.

In one of her hanger hunting moments, she'll walk into my room and spot fragments of another lost comrade.
The mother would then give me the evil eye and say to me "stop killing the hangers! "
"Already we never seem to have enough at home, and here you are killing them"

(I do have to confess that as much as mommy may be acquiring new hangers actively, I've been "retrenching" a couple of her oldies on the sideline.)

Haahaha.

Funny
(pardon my humour, I truly understand that i'm odd at times, and not everyone finds them funny - so the sister has informed me. LOL)

Bokeh, Transformer 3 and other whining.

My newest addition to my Bokeh effects.
I hope i'm getting better - but i'm not fully satisfied with what's acheived here either.
Blah.
Loving my feathers tho - was fixing and fooling around with styles for the next photoshoot, when I took this. :)
---

On other news,
I. Need. to. wake. up. early. for wavehouse tomorrow.

All that Popcorn binge-ing from watching Transformer 3 - dark of the moon earlier
is taking its toil on my throat. (That and mommy's attempt in feeding me lots of mango that she bought over the weekend + that packet of Super Ring that I could not resist)

Transformer 3 is good, glad that Megan Fox is out of the movie, but the "supposedly" new "hottie" isn't quite my definition of Hottie tho.
Yes she has a hot body and face, but it seems like she O.Ded on the Mouth Botox or perhaps the bee stung her lips? Aside from her pouty pouty lips, i'm  actually okay with whatshername. ( too much effort to google her name, unlike my pretty mermaid in Pirates of the Carribean)

Looking forward to Hogwarts in end July.

Desperately rehydrating now, but I seem to be fighting a losing battle.

Gwen Stefani - Harajuku lovers Beats earphones.

Aaayyy Waaaaaaaant!
So cute!

*stares at the pair of Red Lady Gaga earphones currently using*
I still love you, but the Harajuku one is also love!

The way I look at it, my set of Lady Gaga Heartbeat matches my new red bling phone cover, +  Nano casing pretty well.
Let me illustrate to you what I mean.. :)

Lady Gaga with Phone...
I

Nano cover + Heartbeats + phone. Nice!

In my head, the Harajuku in the Chrome color looks awesome with everything as well.
The cute Harajuku ones just cant stop popping up in my head.
Rwar!

Fancy this as well... but it doesnt match with everything else!
why does it have to be in baby blue?
red bow with white/pink variant works as well what! :(

Need to digress..
Bought a new poofy pouch yesterday because it's soooooo cute.
Peeping into my bag now makes me happy.
Why?

Everything's matchy matchy and color coded.
White, Red, Silver and Bling!
Even the keys! But I refuse to run to the door to fetch the keys in for a photoshoot, so we'll just make do with the product pictures from Bowtique
Yay!

Nice right?

------

And now I have this "fancier" idea...
to wear my Harajuku doll Dress and have matchy earphones...
Cutest dolls I've met for a while.
Haha!

Couldn't resist and I wore them in Bangkok the very next day!  :p

Purple Chic

Heart my Purple Dress, especially the the Chain details on the shoulder.
Available in Black, White and Purple in the next Bowtique collection launch.
Lazy to post picture of the entire dress.
But it's really just a simple tank top dress with the awesome chain details - easy to envision right?
:)

Old pictures of past outfits...

I have a terrible bad habit of taking a pictures and not remembering to post them up.
I found these picture in the camera from a million years ago, while hunting for other pictures.
Here's 2 black and white outfit that I'll like to share with different looks.

Can't even remember where I was heading out to...
But since I kinda like my simple but chic look for the night... I figured that I should share! :)

What I wore for the night:
My trusty black jacket from Far East since the start of the world.
Edgy Skater Dress from Bowtique
Pitcher Plant Necklace from Amado Gudek that the owner, Elaine gave to me early this year.
Elastic Belt from Far East
Mono art Floral Bracelet I bought from Stella's shop when Audrey and I dropped by Haji Lane last year.

It's times like these that reckons I like my accessories more than my clothes!
This picture shows my accessories better..

Yet another Mono colored outfit!
Looking it it, I did not realize it was a Black and white phase I was in.
kwakwakwa...

Stripes and Bow Top from Bowtique
Dotted Ribbon from my own wardrobe
Little Black Shorts from Bowtique
Ribbon Buckle Belt from Bangkok.

Now we play Spot the Difference!
What's the difference between the next 2 pictures?

Nothing much...
Just the change in Ribbons, and the +/- of accessories.
I settled for the clashing of dots and stripes and sauntered out of home for coffee.
Lalala..

Beer Festival, Wavehouse and a haircut.

Spent the entire Saturday feeling abit Meh
Had to force myself to wake up for my hair appointment that I booked for myself and mommy, and she had to call me twice to make sure that I was awake and making my way out.
Madam was upset that I was almost an hour late.

I reckon it was Friday's activities that gave me a lethargic Saturday and achy arms - and i'll talk abt friday in abit.

So here's the hair post trimming.

Wow!
Hair looks exactly the same! :D
I took off about 2-3 inches off, re-layered the top and it just looked sleeker from the blowdry.

I decided, I needed that hair trim bad, for  I. stopped. using. the. comb.
It was prehistoric cave girl life for a week, and hobo chic hair was totally my bestfriend!

Hairpins could get lost in my hair jungle, and I would only realize its existence when I'm shampooing.

Whining aside, I was so exhausted that I flopped into bed after I was done with dinner (it's not an uncommon practise for me), and woke up 2 hours later, with the girls asking if I would join them at Zirca...

I obviously chose to stay home to recharge, for a better Sunday.
Contemplated sleeping through to Sunday, if it wasn't for the fact that I need to wash my make up goobs off the face, and that I was hungry again.

What transpired on Friday?

Headed over to Wave House and "rode" the waves for 2 hours straight and grew a tan.
That's some massive cardio workout for a sloth like me.
But I'm improving!

Had a late "lunch" at 4ish in the evening at Carls Junior Vivocity.
Portobello Mushroom burger - I love you!
Headed home and ate dinner - Fell asleep (again) post dinner,
woke up and headed out for some last minute Beer Festival at the Flyer.
Free Tickets!

Wore Bowtique's Blood Orange Jumpsuit - launching in the next collection with my myriad of accessories.
Yes, I'm quite the accessory gypsy and check out my red bling bling phone cover!!
Crappy picture the BB produces. Never fails to amaze me...
Sigh.

By the time I got there, the rest were already semi wasted.
We toured around the festival and I discovered the nicest tasting beer ever!
I fell in love with the North Taiwanese Beer. The beer came in Lychee and Honey Melon flavour - love the fruitiness and sweet after taste, and I've never been a fan of beer in my life!

The cute label packaging of the bottle gave it a +10 cuteness
Hehehe.
I was a happy NTW beer guzzler, until the alcohol kicks in.

That's when I asked for food, and we left for Macs.
I went home a happy + tired girl with my third purple coke glass!

Ending my post with the Tags I've collected for Friday. :)

Eclipse!

I've been told that Eclipses are bad for Humans.
Be it Lunar or Solar Eclipse.

I've also been told to avoid consuming water, food and alcohol during the eclipse, and to stay indoor while it happens, for the "energies" released during the eclipse is very harmful and negative to me.
Therefore eating during eclipse is as good as poisoning myself, (So i gather?) and the spread of viruses.

Which is why i'm starving as I blog.
Boo.
My second eclipse (not literally), that i'm observing the starving/ no water/ stay indoor.

I had a really bad solar eclipse experience late last year..
Had alot of yelling to do over the phone while i'm out in the mall + grumpy from the lack of the food.
The public display of temper was just beyond awesome.

So I'm not taking any chances with this lunar eclipse.
Camped at home early, kept myself off supper... *stomach growling*

Been googling abit for answers and I'm not interested in the scientific versions... just the alternate ones that no one can provide me with answers.

Well, based on my findings, the easiest perspective to digest would be from
Feng Shui master : Joey Yap's  version ... I've bold the important bits for easy speed reading.

According to him on fengshuilogy

Most forms of Astrology, place a great deal of emphasis on the Sun and the Moon.
In Chinese Astrology, the Sun is Yang and the Moon is Yin and they are regarded as the only two stars in the constellation that can emit light.
Thus, when an eclipse of the Sun or Moon takes place, all Yang or all Yin is blocked out momentarily during that point in time.
In Chinese Astrology, a sun eclipse is regarded as being worse than a moon eclipse - this is because Yang energy is required by all living beings and when a Sun eclipse occurs,
Yang energy to Earth is momentarily interrupted. It also falls in-line with astrological findings that the Moon doesn’t actually emit its own light, but merely reflects the light of the Sun.

Per Chinese Astrology, it is strongly advisable to avoid going outdoors during a Sun Eclipse or to observe the phenomenon at all. Being outdoors during a Sun Eclipse is a one-way ticket to bad luck within 3 months. The ancient Chinese Astrologers specifically advised against any direct look at the eclipse.

--- fast forward ---
I guess this is where we get explainations for the "suay" ness that we get.. Lol.

Exposure to the effect of a Sun Eclipse, can be part of the reason why two people with the same BaZi charts, encounter different paths at a certain point in time. This is because Person A and Person B are influenced by different Heavenly Stars or Tian Xing at that point in time, based on their geographical location.

Since my source came from indian astrology, (after much comparison, I realized that chinese and indian folklore and religions has so much in common, only that the Indians are very much more elaborate when it comes to rites and beliefs!)

so based on the more elaborate and spiritual theory:

The air during the eclipse is impure - which is why people are highly encouraged to stay at indoors during the time to reduce the breathing / absorption of the bad energies.

At a superstitious level, eclipse is when the dark magic exploits the opportunity to harness the negative energies do their evil deeds,

as how i would analogize it - it's like exploiting the security lapse during an electricity blackout, where the "up-to-no-good" would exploit the security lapse and do what they usually can't do~ which is bad for good people like us!

The site is too lengthy to be posted here - you can read up if you're really that interested.
It's called a spiritual perspective.
It's like one of the rare sites that explains why I should starve myself, instead of munching on my big serving of Kokocruch and milk as like how I'll usually do.

I even left Zouk early!
Rwar!
Apparently the site recommends a couple of DONTS
    • Avoid Eating: The increase in the subtle basic Raja-Tama in the atmosphere during the period of an eclipse affects food as well as the digestive processes. Hence it is advisable to avoid meals during the period of the eclipse. The time period when we should avoid meals depends on the type of eclipse. This is because the amount of sunlight or moonlight reaching Earth depends on the percentage area of the Sun or Moon covered during the eclipse.

I glazed over the definition of Raja-Tama, so if you really want to know, ask google.

    Feeling giddy from the
lack of sustenance from my beloved Kokocrunch - where the milk swirling in it will have a GREAT CHOCOLATEY Taste AND the negative energies of the eclipse.

    Need to sleep.

    KthxBye!

    safari princess

Heading out to Zouk in awhile.
Can't decide between keeping the White Safari piece or the Pink one from Bowtique's next collection..
I love the print, the one sided tassels and the asymmetric cutting of the dress !

Posting pictures just to see response before I decide on the color.
My Wardrobe's gonna burst, so i'm only allowing myself just 1 color for each design.
Such tough choice because I know I look damn good in white, and so far everyone's swayed towards the white for me.
But Argh, I need to break that white habit.

    Pink it shall be. ;)
decision making is a dreadful process.

    Gotta go!

    Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...

I haven't been conscientious with my updating as like how I've promised myself that I would.
    Oops.
Perhaps tonight, I shall remember to take pictures of myself wearing stuff from the new collection. :)

    perhaps, perhaps, perhaps... :)

    post holiday syndrome..

Was a sad / excited girl when I put myself back on the plane.
    Holiday's over.
Excited because i'm totally looking forward to the coming collection for Bowtique!
I practically wanna wear everything like NOW..if it wasn't for the fact that I'll itch and scratch around like a monkey from wearing new unwashed clothes.
Though i'm not quite sure if the itch is psychological or for real,
(considering the fact that I practically grew up in a clothes factory - I kinda know how dirty clothes can be, being bundled and thrown around on the floor etc and then think geographical hygiene in manufacturing countries like china..thailand... vietnam..
    eek!

Okay digression aside, so I touched down back to Singapore, and the first meal I had was
    Macdonalds (seriously wtf, i know)
But i need to get the lime green glass!

If you haven't already caught on ( no idea which world you're residing in..), the current Mac craze would be that coca cola glass shaped like a coke can in 6 various colors~ ♥)

    So far.....
    1x dark green
    2x pink (coz it's a pretty color)
    1x lime green.

I totally intend to get 2x purple and grey!

I seriously need to stop eating Mac just for their collectibles.
    Argh. *guilty face*
Was chomping Macs in Bkk, just to get the Po (kung fu panda) cup lids.
Luckily they had the yummy Samurai Pork Burger that Singapore doesn't carry, which in turn makes me feel less loser.
    Hahahhaa.

I never knew buying trips could be this tiring.
I dozed off in the cab ride home, the cab uncle had to wake me up for directions to direct location...
Attempted to unpack - but ended up lost in dreamland when I took a break from unpacking.
Mom had to yanked me out of bed to eat dinner.
Was so tired that I could not stomach much of my rice from dinner.

And now, awake and hungry again... I munch as I type.
Thank gawd I had the foresight to get Crystal Jade egg tarts when I marched out to get Bubble Tea.

*mom rolled her eyes and nagged when i told her about my bubble tea shop discovery at Bangkok.
She's like totally exasperated with my addiction to bubble tea - coz she's convinced that bubble tea is bad for the health.
    It's my only vice!
I dont smoke, drink or do drugs. Only Bubble Tea! :D~

    June Rambles

    Hellloooo!

Attempted to snap pictures of myself/hair color, and I guess I was feeling/looking decent enough to photograph myself.

    Hair in normal lighting...
I am getting quite bored of my hair, and just delaying a trip to the hairdressers..
Invested in a few new look!
Like the braided "hair"band I bought.
It made my boring hair look alittle more fancy, and i have to admit that it looks pretty convincing eh? + the "hair"band's color is quite a close match to my real hair color.
Woots for that and the blurred background achieved from photoshopping! :)

Chiffon Pink hair color in Daylight.

Reckon this would be my how the hair would look like in daylight, without flash.
I decided that I wanted a MEGA sized donut hair, that my own hair alone cannot achieve (yes, despite my ridiculous hair length at the moment)
Went to research on Donut hairs, and some girls suggested that we stuff a sock to create a poof! on the hair.

I thought about it, and still preferred my socks to be with my feet, rather than my hair/head..
so I did what a girl would do!
That is to head down to Far East Plaza, to get hair inserts la....

No matter how I try to angle my camera, it is impossible to be able to look AT the camera, smile and be able to capture my poofy donut bun.
    So faceless shot would suffice.
    *scowl*

Was inspired by an old design that I found in my sketch book..
Went fabric shopping, and sewed a new dress from scratch! :)

Kinda fancy my dress quite abit that I even wore the dress out for Ben's wedding lunch yesterday.
Close up pictures of this dress would have to wait until I get back from Bangkok.

Not so much about the silhouette that I'll rave about, but rather the dress details...
    Like the asymmetric top...
the crystal beading surrounding the "lobang", that took me 3 hours to achieve +  random dream about "flying" off to different caves to gather various colored crystals when I went to bed....it's quite wtf.. like some computer game quest
    tsk!

oh!! and the back gather detail of my dress that I ♥♥ ALOT~
Not forgetting the choice of color - purple and red. :)

Can't wait to head off to Bangkok in a matter of hours!
I reckon that frequent traveling would do me good.
I dread being confined in Singapore.

Went out on a date with my Honey a few nights ago.
Nothing much, just a lazy night out.
Hops's outfit wasn't ready, so it was just Honey going on an outing.

We shared a seat and I buckled him - just so he'll have a safe journey.
With my messy hair and all.
    Awww

    Picture in the lift.

Sucky picture from the Blackberry that no amount of Photoshopping would do any justice, so i'll leave it to be.. all my old non-smart phones could do better.
    Baffling, isn't it?

At least now everyone knows why the bitbits needs modern clothes - to go out in!
Cant be seen in the same outfit twice can they?
    Hahahha.

I reckon I should catch some sleep before the flight.
    Adios!
