Mixing work with pleasures
Mixing work with pleasures always seem so fun! I've loaded up pictures of Da and i, working at the Car-nival at the Expo.
I wasn't supposed to be working on a Sunday morning, instead, I was supposed to be catching up with sleep, after my tiring day at Saturday at Sentosa, But........!
This girl backed out of the assignment at the very last minute, and so Tony (the sweetie who arranged this job for us) , asked Da if i could replace her....
and there i was, Ta DA!!!!
The instant replacement who jumps out of bed, looking blurry eyed at 10.15am in the morning, scuttling around home to dress up for work. The girls were supposed to report for work at 11am! However am i gonna get to expo on time?!? It's not like Expo's just situated right across home. Bleh!
Luckily, i was allowed to report work alittle later, and I made it there via cab at 11.30! Hoo!!
Work for the day consist of distributing flyers, posing and smiling for a billion and one photographers, and i really had fun shimmying up the car bonnet to pose for pictures! Ooh!
We spent most of our time, photowhoring with the yellow Evo with the unicorn decals. But our favourite Evo was really the black one, with really shiny silver stickers! *double grins!*
Oh in case you were wondering, the company that we were working for, sells mainly customised car stickers and decals. Pretty!
Now that im done with Sunday, let's move on back to Saturday...
Zoe and Phyllis introduced a really simple job to Audrey and i. Our job scope?
To mend the games booth for Mitsubishi Electric's family day! I was incharged of the golf putty booth, while Zoe's was the dart booth...Phyllis's was the "Smash the moth ball" booth, and Audrey's was the soccer booth.
We spent most of our time enjoying the slow Tram ride on the beach, even though we were lost and late. *oops*
We then decided to give the person incharge a call, and he came to rescue us in a 6 seater Buggy!
I haven't been riding on a buggy for ages, so i definitely enjoyed my Buggy ride too!
We hung around Sentosa until dark, and the event was giving out lots of Light stick, so Zoe, Audrey and i armed ourselves with light sticks, and begin posing for pictures! It was just too bad that Phyllis had to leave early!!
I went home with very sore thighs, from the bending, squatting and standing up motion of picking up the golf balls!
My thighs are practically screaming in protest, from the momrnt i woke up this morning... til now, the wee hours of the monday morning.
Imagine the horrors of walking, not mentioning, to throttle around in 3 inch boots!!
Sitting down, and standing up proved to be such a painful experience that i practically screeched everytime i have to bend or sit. Sigh..
I hope my thighs will feel better, when i wake up for Buying Behavior classes tmr.
@$$#!%&!@
Morning classes! Urgh!
