Phew! one more paper to go, and i'll be done with exams this semester! i'm so sick of studying for exams! Nothing much fun happened to me since i went into "dull" mode.
But everything isn't THAT bad. Studying in Macs with Zoe as usual proved to be rather entertaining.
Found some time mid papers for alittle breather, so boo and I caught the movie "the departed" over the weekends, and i'd say that the movie was pretty well done.
Since Quacks is on leave for the rest of Nov, he's got lots of time to slack, play games, while i sit pitifully on another side reminding myself to study.
Haa, but for most of the time, i'll be succumb to the "dark"side, doing anything but studying. (yah, it's bad, i knoooww). Catching up on my sleep was definitely one very important thing i've been busy with, and we also watched the whole of "Kyle Xy" season 1 after dinner yesterday. It's mystifying, and it's all abt a boy who woke up in a forest, naked, with no belly button, incredibily smart and no freaking idea who he is, and where he came from...and whom they decided to name KYLE.

Mom experienced a tyre puncture 2 mornings ago, and i can't quite decide if the ordeal is amusing or dumb. Apparently the puncture happened at leedon heights area while she was sending the brother to school. Flabbergasted, she didn't know what to do, but went on driving til she reached.... Holland V. (I'm amazed at the distance the flatties could travel).
While on the other hand, Poor Daphne sits alone at home in the wee hours of the morning, waiting for her breakfast to arrive... received a phonecall from mom, announcing that the tyres went flat. Ahhh.. at this point in time...*press the pause button, u can virtually head the birds chirping away at the window*, i have to tell u yet another story, before proceeding with the story..
Mommy's the really cool headed, independent type of woman, where in any crisis would still be calm, and knows exactly what to do. so you may wonder...how calm can she be? Well, if the sky falls, she'll prop it up somehow... If you faint... she wonders if you're having a seizure, and naturally pry open your mouth, lest the "faintee" bites his/her tongue (trust me... my mouth was pried open before, but that's another story..) or if the brother slipped in the toilet...comes to her shieking, with a bleeding tongue, she'll pale but still be able to perform the normal, rinse ur mouth routine, as though as he's just brushing his teeth, before assessing damages, then sending him to the hospital for stitches.
The only crisis that my super mommy ain't cool, would be car related problems.
I swear she nearly cried and had a lost puppy face when she realised that the car couldnt start, after shopping one fine saturday. I suggested that the battery could be down, and solutions that we could use, to get the car "alive." but that was years back.
Well, flat tyres is just as bad. So Hungry Daphne had to rescue her...rather... just be there to smile and reassure her that everything's gonna be alright.
After all, i doubt anyone would think that i'm the sort who knows how to change the tyres, do you?
Boo sacrificed his sleep, dropped by and see what he could do to help and all. But we lack the necessary equipment to change the tyres, so after 2 hours of frantic search for tools and all, we've decided to get AA to tow the stupid car to dad's appointed workshop when they're finally up for business.
Seems to me that most car workshops aren't opened 24 hours! and cars usually love to break down at unusual hours.
After the entire ordeal.. it's sad to know that i was still breakfastless. *pouts*
I took a short nap, then got myself a subway sandwich to make up for my lack of breakfast.
