It means when your heart thinks about something, and the matter that you wished for is granted.
I like this phrase a lot.
ALOT.
When my spoken Chinese was nowhere as pro as now, I especially liked this phrase the best( and prolly one of the pro sounding stuff I could mutter)
It's like having a genie granting your wish.!
Anyway, I was due to make a last minute trip to China tonight ( 2 days notice is really crazy) , and was frantically heaving clothes into the suitcase after a short first meal of the day at 1am.
while I was at it, I also remembered some of the thick clothing that I ordered online are due to arrive today.
Damn! Disapponted that I wont be able to bring my newly bought stuff out this trip.
Gotta wait til next month's trip then :(
I Wondered if I could self collect, and pondered on alternatives, to bring my purchases along with me for this trip.
Also I didn't receive any flight confirmation, so there was this part of me that also wondered..am I flying tonight or not?
After I've decided my 6th outfit,
Daddy saunters home at 5.41am (obviously my night owl genes were inherited from the pops), and I asked.
So am I flying off with you tonight?
And he replied that he's postponed his trip back to China.
In my head, it was "yay!" "Yippee"
*proceeds to ditch luggage packing! *
Well. 心想事成! I'm gonna bring my new satin quilted jacket for the trip (if delivery is on time!)
Oh and that I'll have a few more days to prepare my outfits, and decide on the layers and temperature to stabilise.
Year end trips require a little more thought and coordination.
The good side is, I get to dress differently from Singapore Daphne.
And all my thick jackets gets a chance to come out for an airing!
Down side, 2 days notice sort of last minute packing is definitely not my forte.
I like to be ready. Prepared and overpacked stuffed full of excess facial mask, toiletries and clothes just in case my trip get extended, I won't need to re wear clothes.
At summer, it's really quite easy.
At winter. I admit that I'm horrible at gauging numbers just to feel heat
