i love my friends

I've been bugged by at least 3 people as to why haven't i been blogging for a really long time, therefore it's only right that i fill in the missing blanks.
I haven't exactly disappeared, but like what my previous entries suggested, im currently going through a rather difficult stage of my life, and im trying hard to get out of it.
Everything seems like it couldn't possibly get any darker, so i'll dare say that things would hopefully start getting better. Having already confided to those who cares and mattered to me, about my issues and my concerns, I am already feeling much better. Everyone assured me that im not alone, and it's good to know that i've still got friends around to help me tide over difficult times.

Today, I went off to OCBC building to have dinner at this place known as the "Executive's Club", to celebrate Shanice's 1st birthday. Shanice is beanie's "god niece" erm., since technically, she's "god granddaughter" to beanie's dad. Am i right? This is getting confusing. I've only met her thrice personally, and i'd say that she's looking cute and cuddly, though grumpy and threatening to cry at times.

Cute little Shanice somewhat reminded me of Maggie Simpson, when she sucks her pacifier. Though exterior wise, she's like this live japanese baby doll, Fair skinned and chubby cheeks.
Rather playful, but tantrums aplenty. i doubt i'll want my daughter to behave like her. Somewhat, i seem to think that her parent's aren't educating her the right way. Like there was this architectural kind of lamp that's in a circular/ballish shape. She pointed at it, being facinated like all kids, and all her dad could say was.... "circle!"
Technically speaking, wouldn't it be more logical, and politically right to educate your child by telling them it's a light?

Initially, I'm rather surprised to find out that she hasn't learnt to walk, or talk properly yet. Rather than to communicate with her in baby talk, After the dinner, i'm able to conclude that her speech and motor development is very much hindered by inexperienced parenting.

Her mom thinks that she's not ready to try to feed herself, and she isn't ready to walk on her own. They don't seem too worried about her not being able to mutter simple words like mama, papa, and mum mum. Being totally happy with her incoherant mutterings.

I don't doubt Shanice's capability to walk or talk, as she does react rather intelligently when we talk and play with her. you'll never learn to walk, if you're afraid to fall - With her parents being obsessed with her not falling, or to think that she's not ready to play with her own food, it's not surprising that she's not learnt to walk or to do things herself.

Seriously. i've seen enough counsins, and babies to know better. Not that im a mommy myself, but it doesn't take an idiot to know about child development. There's my brother for instance, and all the text available to you about child psychology, and development. You learn all that in basic Home Economics in school. Seriously, theory in child development is child's play to most.

I couldn't help but disapproving, but could only eat my dinner in objection. Food's ok, and we're like the only people in the restaurants, other than the service people.
Likes the steamed prawns best. yum!

I Didn't feel like going to Mambo today, and i already told Crix earlier that i'm too tired to actually be doing the weekly routine. Though assuring him that i'll join them again, once i feel that im ready and settled with my new life.

What new life? You must be wondering. New life to me would be the adjustments that i've gotta get used to, with school work, timetable, council activities, and spending time with baby, and personal time for myself.

I'm probably the world's worst planned person. I'm horrible at juggling my time properly. My life can't be screwed any further. It's horrible. Which explains for the depression phase that im currently stuck in.

Not to worry about me, for the fact that im actually admitting my problems, it kinda show that im working to overcome problems.

To step out of my dark little shell, and be brave. Main piorities would be to survive through this semester, and the many more to come, and hopefully graduate soon. ( It's such a long way to go, my future's looking pretty bleak and misty. )

Harry Potter is depressing too, with Dumbledore dead, and i've always know that Snape would turn out to be such a traitor!
Having no intentions to return to Hogwarts with all that happened, i feel that Harry's growing up way too soon. What started out as harmless children's fantasty reading materials, somehow turned into really dark story contents. Depressiing. Whatever happened to stories that ends with "and they live happily ever after"?

Enough of Harry Potter, but there's pressing issues like.....
Me being damn broke!
I can't believe that i acutally overspent til im left with a pitiful amount in my bank. If it wasn't for the fact that i went to withdraw money earlier, i wouldn't have realised that i've actually have been overshopping with my masters or nets.

Apparently my grades aren't the only thing i ought to pioritise. I should just stop splurging.
I tried doing my own little maths in shopping terms...
and this is what i've recalled for the last 2 weeks....

1)pet supplies $80 and abv
2)new linen pants slightly abv $30
3)Spanish cape $25
4)a few new tops $80
5)my hair cut @ blitz $40
6)food

i can't quite recall what other stuff i've spent on.
But im in such deep shit. So So broke.
Hope mommy would reimburse me with the pet supplies, coz i really dread eating into my other saving accounts. Bleh.
Im such a hopeless person, when it comes to saving. Drastic suggestions to curb spending, anyone?

blogging. Yawn

yawn... Blogging seemed to have lost it's flavour. I can't seem to bother to blog anymore, and i seem to have lost the time to blog. Must have been all that flurry of activities that i'm stuck with. Ya know, the school bash preparations , school work itself, all that interviews that the EXCO have to sit through, and recruitment booth and initiation day. Boy! im totally exhausted.

Exhaustion. I mean the lost of energy and enthusiasium to do anything. All my favourite activities and past time seem tasteless suddenly. Mambo doesn't appeal to me anymore, shopping seem meaningless, as for my highly anticipated online shopping... tsk..well browsing is more mundane, than exciting. Even if i did a search for a particular item that i wanted..my main problem at the moment, is my mind's a total blank. I've got no idea what i wanted.

I mean, i know what i want, and i've gotten them already. There seem a point whereby, there is seriously nothing for me to get. I bidded for the GoJane spanish cape, and Tada... i got it. Opened the package, stared at it and go...that's it? So much for anticipation.
Next on my list, would be the Old Navy Linen clutch bag. I've got so many of the same item in my watch list, that there couldn't possibly be anymore that i haven't seen. It's only a matter of time, before i'm gonna bid for it, (ya know, waiting for the very last min, before bidding on it, to avoid any competition.) Life's boring.

I probably need new, interesting stuff to do, before i waste my life away. Believe me, i probably would be more productive, revising my work, rather than to sit in front of my joybook, looking like a bloppy lump of thankless creature. But i do find it necessary to make an effort to place an entry, occassionally. Blah! contradicting isn't it?

Recruitment for Student Council, isn't as successful as i've envisioned it to be. Bash, seem to be a really rush affair, considering that we've got less than a month to prepare! Argh! Not exactly a failure, but it's getting rather depressing for me. Depressed that things aren't the way i envisioned, and it ain't a bed of roses, but i'll have to admit, that im inefficient alright!

I went over to the Candy Empire today, and spent a total of $10 bucks on sweets. Haha, speaking of sweet tooth, or a reprived childhood. I bought my usual Joosters, and there's this candy dust packaged in a compact powder kind of case. It's pink and cute. There's this other sweet, which is packaged as a fire extinguisher. It's supposed to squirt water, once im done with the candy.
Yup, 3 items for 10 bucks. I wonder why i bought them, though i must admit that i bought the compact candy dust for the box, and the fire extinguisher for the squirt. The joosters coz it's yummy. Sigh.. yes..Candy Empire is a really expensive and high class "mama store".

Actually, to think of it, (now that my mouth's stuffed with white chocolate, and my sugar level just went up), i missed the old "Candy Express" that used to be situated at the Basement of Wisma. They had this huge assortement of marshmellows, Lollis, the various sizes and assortments of Jawbreakers, and the sugar crystals on a stick. Somehow, business went bust i think, and they disappeared. It was my very own "Willy Wonka's factory". All the pretty sweets that any child could ever dream of, was found in there!

Candy Express, does it ring a bell to you?

Speaking of candies, i really fancied the candy store over at the Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Those fabulous hand made candies are to die for, and it's been my dream to set up a store in here. Those candies are delicious, and pretty! The thought of it cheers me up.
It's like those sweet shops in that's being described in Enid Blyton's stories. Noddy, or whatever brownie town, fairyland and all. Hmmm Simply magical!

Im alive!

Yeah i know, i've been missing for a really Looooooooong time, but that doesn't mean that im dead.

I've been really busy with lots of stuff, for the last 2 weeks of my holidays, and currently, the start of school term. Being busy with Freshies's Orientation was like a never ending event, but i managed to make my way over to Genting, and Malacca, just before the Freshie's Orientation started. Coming back in time to fine tune things alittle, then Hey Presto! It's the long awaited Orientation Day!!!

Everything started out reallly messy, with people looking lost, actually being lost ( they're unsure of the groups that they're supposed to be in), and the OGLs, and Gamemasters late. I was on the verge of tearing my hair off my scalp. Luckily, everything improved and things went on smoothly, with occasional hiccups.

The Excos ended Orientation day, by hanging out together at Mambo later in the night.
Exhausted we were, but we managed to hang on in there, til nearly 3. Most of us went crazy, with occasional wave of exhaustion washing over us.

Thought i could have a really nice sleep after Mambo, but alas! I was woken up early in the morning by Elaine, with Orienatation debrief matters to settle. Bah!

Enough said about Orientation. It's over, but im glad that things turned out fine, though i have to agree that there's still room for improvement. The first event that our new presiding committee is involved together. So exciting! Many more events to go, for this entire semester. hahah!

School officially started today for me, but as usual, i was back in school on Monday, for Council interview. Yeah, it's interview, interview, interview for us all, for the whole of this week. It's a wonder that i still have energy to blog here.

Im really excited about this new bunch of freshies that would soon be joining us as members in the Student's Council, hoping that everything would run smoothly for us in the many events to come.

We made new friends today, with our neighbours, the Existing Commitee from UOL. It's rather pleasant meeting them, as i've often considered them the phantom neighbours. Due to the difference in term break, and schedule, i've never met them in my life, til today, Haha. I like it.

alright, that probably sums up what i've been up to, during my disappearance, and though it sounds really trival, they are all pretty time consuming matters.
Beanie officially started work at CitiBank on monday, and so far so good *crossing fingers*
It's rather exciting to be shopping with him for work clothes, instead of casuals, coz it's something that i've never done before, and i had fun checking out the tie selections, despite myself not being an avid tie person. But ties nowadays are so cute! there's man playing golf motifs, there's the pretty candied stripe ones, the serious looking ones, and the textured ones!

I never was given an opportunity for tie shopping, considering the fact that daddy never wears one, cept for special occasions, like on his wedding day, and also his Company's function. In 22 years of my life, i've only recalled my dad shopping for a good business suit and wearing a tie once! Told you i've been deprived of tie shopping!

I fancied the colored canided ones, you know, they axtually look yummy enough to be eaten, but beanie seemed to have developed a distaste for pretty color combinationed ties. Boo! haa!
But i'd still say that he look pretty cute all dressed up in his shirt and tie and new pants! yay!

I was watching the documentary of : "The Da Vinci code", the other day, and it got me started on the book. Good for me that the set of book that i laid my hands on, was the illustrated version, that actually shows you pictures of the places, churches, pictures, equipments, that were mentioned in the book. Makes reading more interesting. I haven't been interested in books like this for ages. The last time i recall reading books of such depth would be 1421. It's all about Admiral Cheng Ho, and 2 other Eunuchs sailed around the world in their Junk, and how Zheng He discovered and stepped foot on America long before Columbus discovered it.

Pretty keen on going for the 1421 exhibition along Marina, and the other one at the maritime place, but i'll have to see if i have the time to. After all, a busy bummerina's gotta do what a busy bummerina gotta do. Ha!

I miss my romance novel. But i'll probably spare what possible time i have in the next book, about this stray cat's point of view on humans. It sounds quite interesting, but i'll just have to spare time to finish up that little bit of Da vici code, then i'll be done with it.

Can't wait for the next Harry Potter to be out, though there is a relatively noticeable drop in the publicity that it's receiving, as compared to the other books. Seems very minimal.

Lalala. You do realise that the lesser i blog in here, the more time i'll be able to finish up on The Da Vinci Code, do you?
Ta ta....

Daddy

Driving yesterday was boring, gruelling! I was mastering my directional change, and parking. The parking part was strenuous!! Yeah, but it's good anyway. Just tired, with the early waking up part. I kinda figured out on my way to BBDC, that if i were to be alittle more disciplined, and quit cabbing there 7 times, i'll be able to weasel another lesson out. Haha..Lame, but it makes sense. Yet, i lack the discipline to get up early, or leave home early.

Im having such a huge headache now. Boo! I can't seem to differentiate the difference with migrane, and headache. But i seem to be suffering from 2 kinds of pain recently. One, is the throbbing kind, where you constantly feel that someone's banging your head, and while the other one is more tolerable. i'm still affected by it. It's the kind where it'll hurt when you move your head. It's as though as your brain's gone all lumpy and soft, and it moves around the head. And when it contacts my skull or whatever, it;ll hurt.

I Wonder why?

Flyer's almost done, and im just deciding on when to print. Good news is that, mommy and daddy's decided to postpone our holiday by one more day, meaning that we'll be leaving town on a wednesday, instead of the stipulated tuesday evening. Might be able to get the printer to print it out on time for me after i get the approval of everyone on monday. I hope. *crosses fingers tightly*

I'm supposed to be up early, to meet Zoe, to get the stickers tomorrow. I do hope that i'll be able to wake up in time. After sticker shopping, i'll be down to Sengkang, to visit ye ye. I haven't visited him for quite a while, and i guess it's time. Besides, now that daddy's home, i've got not much of choice either. Then after visiting, we'll go have Father's day dinner + hello daddy dinner.

Daddy just came back on thursday night, hand carrying those precious little orientation tee shirts for the freshies. I was alittle disappointed, upon setting my eyes on them, as they didn't look quite as nice as the Spy academy ones. Boo.

But im grateful that daddy delayed his trip home, just for my tee shirts, to help me save cost, and to ensure that the tees come over in time for the orientation. Daddy's the best. Feel bad to trouble him, but he's been quite set on making me get some deals on my own, even if we're not making $. I wonder why?

I guess there's some reason for us to communicate with each other, while he's in China, so that we wouldn't lose touch? I'm glad that he's left his previous job. He seems more relaxed than the past 2 years. We talk more, and communicate better, though i get more task to do from him, and get woken up to reply his emails during my sleeping hours, im happy with the way our relationship goes.

It's alot better than my juvenile years. He dotes me when i was younger, but things turned ugly in the later part of secondary school life. He was the daddy that told me i'm better off wearing contact lenses, instead of specs, the peace maker between mommy and i when we quarrel and scream at each other.
The daddy who also assured me that i'll look pretty when i grow up, despite my very ugly, thick and manly pair of eyebrows that were sitting on my face. He said to me that when i grow up, i'll be able to shape them nicely, and it wouldn't be that bad anymore. (Beanie had a shock when he saw my secondary school photos. Til now, he wouldn't stop teasing me about my very bushy pair of eyebrows. ) >visualise 2 big fat black catapillars on top of my small beady eyes)

Then daddy became this mean monster, when i entered secondary 3. We were constantly screaming at each other. Makes you wonder...was i the monster, or was he the monster?

Yeah..so all that monstrosity between us caused a huge rift in our relationship and all, being bad enough for me to ignore his presense for 6 months? The cold and aloofness went on over the years.

Yep im glad we stopped being monsters, and made peace. I guess im mostly to be blamed for that rift, but i guess i was just going through a phase. Im sure everyone would, just that im alittle more hot tempered by nature? i Really wouldnt know.

But i guess it's be fun, if i'll be able to pay my past a visit. Who knows, if im famous enough in future, i might decide on making a movie on my life story? hahha. Relieving childhood days seem so fun. A trip down memory lane would definitely be worth it.

La.la..la

I just realised that i've saved my previous entries as a draft, instead of publishing it...so pardon me guys, for the lack of a entry recently.
I woke up early today, for my hair appointment with Sam at 12pm. Was half an hour late, and that idiot didn't do much justice to my hair, taking into considerations of all that favour he owns me.! He merely trimmed alittle...which would be the thinning of my fringe, and to cover my roots with copper. I Hate one color cover ups. It's the cheapest and ugliest form of hair color. It's like an insult. I demand my highlights! I feel like an Auntie with White hair, doing cover ups to cover my white hair. Boo!

Oh well, i'll pay for it the next time. Then, i'll be able to decide on what i want.
Sleepy and all, i trudged my way to Far East, and fell asleep while that new assistant of his painted my hair.

Im now in search of the perfect garden frock/dress. And all that i've managed to catch my eye, seem to be in green. Grrr... i've kind of gotten over my green madness already, so too much green is bad. It encourages enviness and jealousy. I wouldnt wanna bring that upon myself do i?

I want a cute little frock!!

Beanie came down to town after my hair was done with, and we went for Dim Sum at crystal Jade. I was bloated when i left the place!
We went shopping around, for new bottom for my man, coz he's like lacking of a variety of capris or pants in my opinion.
In less than an hour, we managed to get him a linen cream colored drawstring capri, and a vintage wash black berms with multi pockets.
The man was like so attracted to the pockets. 8 of them in total! Whatever would you need so many pockets for?? i can't comprehend. I had quite a time laughing at Beanie's "VPL/VPD" when he tried on the cream colored line capri.

He was wearing the Gap Boxer that i've gotten for him for Christmas, it's a sunny yellow, with navy pumas mid sprinting all over the boxers. So i could so see the visible pantie lines and panties design at his bum bum! Hahah.... But i guess he likes the cutting of the linen capri, so he went ahead with the purchasing of the cream capri.

We left town at about 5pm, and i had a nice surprise! Guess where Beanie brought me to???

It's Sentosa! First he drove around town, gave his car a wash somewhere near Telok Blangah bought us some drinks, then he turned into Sentosa, without telling me. Bleh!
We headed over to the beach, and the sneaky fella even packed the beach mats along.

We sat around, stared at the sea, people walking around, frolicking in the sea blah blah blah...
Took pictures and after sometime, we've decided to move on, coz the ants came along, and i was getting grossed out by ants. Eek!

Took more pictures at the fountain garden, and it's quite a pretty place at night. With the lights and all. I tried to explore the ruins left of the old Fantasy Island, but creeps got the better of me.
Frankly speaking, could anyone actually recall the layout of that place?
From where we were, the Fantasy Island ruins now reminded me of some lost civilisation, where the entire civilisation of their own disappear just like this miraculously...interesting, but scary.

The Tourism people should seriously rethink their Sentosa strategies. It's such a boring place, with Fantasy Island gone, and Asian Village gone, there's practically nothing to do anymore. I wonder why did they even bother advertising Sentosa, claiming that there's a whole lot of new and happening fun over at Sentosa? The most happening thing that i can think of there, would be the Beach bar KM8. Other than that, Urgh.

Tourist Visiting Sentosa must have thought really badly of us then. What boring people we are. No fun rides, nothing. just a bunch of boring people living in an island. Im sure if they wanna visit island, they would have chosen more appropriate places like the carribeans or bali. Definitely not Singapore for Sentosa.

Having lacked enough sleep, im now very very exhausted.
I shall retreat in my smooth comfy rainbow sheets for comfort.! Dreamland, here i come!

*im glad that im no longer suffering from a creative block. I've managed to move on, and came up with some stuff that i think would be pretty cute, but i'm not sure about how everyone would think of it. But til then, dreamland, here i come!

Vvroom!

Ooh...it's a new mid year resolution for me. I've decided to set myself a realistic target, that is to TRY to get my driving liscense by the end of this year. Which is quite a daunting task, considering that my expires on the 22 sept, and it's about the same for my BBDC membership.

I've been constantly going for driving lessons alot, starting with the 7 june at night, then followed by the 10 june, 13 june, 14 june(double lesson today), 15 june, 17june, then 1 july. Hmmm not much actually, but i've been driving consecutively for the past few days... and there's one more tomorrow. Was supposed to be driving on the 21 and the 22 of june, but it's been cancelled coz of the holiday that the family would be taking.

Til now, i've got no idea where i'll be heading to, when daddy comes back, but it's definitely some part of malaysia. Sounds elusive eh? Hahahha

These few days has definitely been busy for me. As for the details of my very full and packed schedule... i can't seem to remember what exactly i've been up to, except that i haven't been getting much sleep. Not enough to be considered fully rested.

But at least i managed to meet up with Selene thrice last week, and managed to squeeze in a shopping and catching up session with selene, dolly, and fangping. We haven't seen each other for a really long time. It's definitely been more than a year, because i do recall seeing dolly and fangping during Selene's 21st birthday in January last year. Woo! it's that long.

There's so much catching up to do, but so little time to spare. I had a dinner at with Beanie, while Dolly had to go off to visit her little nephew, and Fang ping had a dinner date with her Bf as well. Which technically speaking, left Selene alone and with nothing to do.

The perk of the week : I was hanging around town, and this lady came up to me, she identified herself, saying that she's from this charity organisation called AINS or something along there, and she was kinda begging me ( very pathetically, she's slouchy, and it's like she's got no energy left in her, and the effort that she's taking to persuade me to buy the ticket is killing her. I had this feeling that if i gave her the money, the first thing she'll do with it, would be to rush to macdonalds and get herself a cheese burget. Seems to me that she's either acting weak, to gain pity, or she really is desperate for the money to get food. Bascially, i had scammy vibes screaming from her)

i was actually considering if i should purchase this $2 ticket, to help the children in whatever society. Well being kind natured and all, i stopped, and listened, and was actually considering buying the ticket. I just couldn't resist asking nosy questions like : "for the $2 that im actually donating, would all of it go to the charity, or would $0.50 go to the charity, and you get $1.50 of it?" And many dumb related questions...

Just after my questions, this other lady identifying herself from the children's society barged into our conversation, and told me to buy the ticket from her instead, as the other lady is phony and blah blah blah. It's such a cat fight!

Things turned bad, and ironic. Picture this : 2 ladies who're supposed to be volunteers, helping the poor, turned out fighting in front of a potential donor for just 2 bucks! Unbelievable!
conclusion, im not gonna spend money on stuff like this in future, and you guys should take this as a warning as well. Stuff like this, including the NKF ones, are a huge scam.

NKF has like millions of reserve funds, and every year, they're constantly bugging us to donate. They have like alot more money than the 20 of us added together. Selene's granny called the NKF hotline, and it was definitely the $5 hotline. When her bill came, she got charged $10, coz the computer reflected that she's called twice. What's most unbelievable, would be the 2 calls are that she's charged, are being called out at the same time on her Mobile phone. Is that quite possible? After calling up Singtel to enquire, Singtel says that there's nothing wrong, and insist on billing her granny for 2 calls instead of 1.

See it's scammy. How can u be charged for 2 calls being made at the same time?
I'll rather write in a check yearly, donating the lump sum to whatever charity that i fancy. At least i'll be sure that the money wouldn't fall into the wrong hands, and i wouldn't be over charged. Charities nowadays are taking the opportunity to fleece people dry. Such irony, and it's disgusting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm currently suffering from this obstruction on the creative side of the brain, as i've got no inspiration on how i'm supposed to start on my "sell the council" Flyers.
It's like, i know im the one who suggested the idea during the meeting, and the only idiot that insist on doing it really...but i guess the main problem, would be that i wasn't receiving the support that i wished i'll get.

I mean, if people simply ain't interested in physically designing the flyers itself, the least they could do, is to tell me simply what kind of style and direction they want me to take on, what kind of objective, style, to sell the council. It's not like it's MY council, but if recruiting new people into the council is top piority, i don't see why i'm getting such a cold response. *rolls eyes*

It's like everything that i envision, seems to be falling apart. There seem to be more trouble and problems rippling on the surface, than i've actually anticipated. Argh! it's frustrating!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now that i've rambled enough, i'll probably would also like to point out that the main reason why i haven't been blogging often, is because, the last time i added an entry in, there seem to be an error. Resulting in a loss of information. Yes all that blogging lost, in just a click, It's RIDICULOUS! Being pissed at the stupid wastful effort. I got alittle too carried away with my little boycotting, to realise that i'll either have to withdraw from blogging, or carry on blogging. I can't just leave it hanging.

So while im still deciding.. Ya guys can read on about my perky little life. About all the "GReat" things that happened to me, and all things bright and beautiful. Hee.

Generally, Life ain't as bad as what i've complaint. It's just an inborn reflex in me, to rattle about the shitty stuff that falls on me, and forget to gush about the pretty things that happens to me. Im thankless i guess??

Just in case you guys think im such a brat, i'll add beautiful and boring life scenes in just to please the crowd.

I had dinner at Spageddies on Saturday, went shopping in town recently, went to watch Mr and Mrs Smith on my 14th month anniversary with beanie on monday. And i'm very much addicted to the Channel 8's daily dose of 7pm show.
I had fun with the driving simulator today, and it was pretty much like an arcade game.

I love the huge zit that's sitting on my face, and it takes forever to go away, and lastly, im glad i passed!

Thank You Eric!

oh and before i hit onto my bed with pretty rainbow sheets,
i'll like to thank Eric, for Lemmings!
Yay! i enjoyed playing it yesterday... it's like a childhood memory! I had lots of fun blasting those green haired, blue bodied little things, as well as saving them dumblings with an yippee!
Hurray to Eric!

shopping!

Bleahh! I Woke up early today for an Editorial Photoshoot at Clementi. I was all dressed up in my little bro's white polo tee ( we had a strict dresscode to adhere to, and i've got no white or black polo tee of my own to boast of. Hee ) The editorial team met under Yunwei's block, and when everyone has arrived, We trudged our way into this little forest, with railway tracks and all! it's quite cool! I mean nature and all..except for the swamp of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes there kinda reminded me of the population in China.

We spent the entire evening looking for a good location to take our pictures, and finally decided on this not so cool place under a flyover.
Taking the pictures was like fun. If only there was someone documenting all our conversations and actions. You know, behind the scene footage... Like while we were killing time, we were pretty kept up with moving around, to escape the never ending mob of mosquitoes. From jogging and marching on the spot, to an attempt with taiji while the guys were scouting around for the perfect spot. Mich came up with the idea of lighting up her ciggies! Naturally, i stood next to her. Rather a passive smoker, than to suffer from all that itch!

After all, i've been a passive smoker since day 1 of my life. What's 3-4 hours of ciggie smoke, compared to the probing itch of the killer mosquitoes? YEah. She lighted about 8 sticks within 1 hour. That's like how scary the mosquitoes were, and it worked.

You know, when i mentioned it to beanie, he said that in truth the ciggies weren't of much help, as mosquitoes ain't scared of ciggie smoke. BUt seriously... it was either a psychological thingie or the truth... there was alot lesser mosquitoes bugging me. Mich donated her ciggies to a good cause. Hiak Hiak!

The pictures turned out pretty good, Cool's the better word to describe. After all, there seem to be an even amount of us wearing white polo tee, and black polo tee! Coincidence isn't it? I had such a good time staring not smiling to the camera. It's probably the 2nd time i've been told not to smile into the camera.
First was for Sam's hair shoot, and second would be today. Hahah. Oh boy, i do look fierce, without smiling!

We all posed professionally for the camera, looking cool and poised. Yet after each posing we did for the camera, all of us would figet around like mad! Yep, like Mad people! The mosquitoes were in for a big treat of blood buffet today.

Immediately after the photoshoot, i made a huge effort of walking out of the forest really fast. I was never the nature loving girl... and i seriously doubt i'll ever learn to love nature in the future...
Though being pretty sure that i'll survive if i have to, but being hot, sweaty and muddy was something i never fancied, not to mention the ever irritating mosquitoes!

Admiring nature from afar or from pictures is something... conserving nature is yet another thing that im willing to campaign on...but living in the nature, like a cave man is something that i'll object to violently! argh!

I'm due for my driving lessons tomorrow, and im rather surprised that mommy told me to cancel it, coz she wanna go shopping at City Square tomorrow! It's unlike mommy to tell her kids to play truant. Oh well, im enjoying it actually!

Managed to cancel the lesson, despite it being less than 24 hours to the lesson. Whee!

Earlier in the day, before leaving home for edit's photography session, i was rather amused and exasperated with mommy's failing memory!
She insisted that i've kept my passport, while i insisted that she kept it with her. SO we kept going on and on about each other being sure about the safekeeping of my passport. Sobs! Her memory IS failing, coz the last time my passport was in use, was for the family to travel to Bangkok last june. I remembered my passport being "confiscated" by her when we purchased liquor at the DFS.

Yet dumb mommy insisted that passport ain't with her. Horrified (that we'll have to pay $100 for a replacement passport), and joyous (coz i'll get to change the horrendous passport picture, if i lose it), i decided to search mommy's drawer, instead of her insistent advise of me searching mine.

Being really sure of myself, i decided to bet with mommy. THat she'll pay for all my shopping tomorrow, if the passport is with her. Wha hahahah! Looks like she'll have a slimer waller tomorrow night, coz i found my passport sitting happily in a corner of her drawer, together with the bank books! Woo Hoo!

Mommy jokingly insisted that i've secretly snuck my passport into her drawer, so that she'll lose the bet. Bah! Sore loser! hahaha

Im like so excited about my shopping trip tomorrow! Yay! Free shopping with mommy!
Not like she wouldn't pay for my shopping to start with, but it'll probably mean that i can spend her money guilt free!

Coincidently, tomorrow's my BIG day!
Not BIG Day like im getting married, but more like BIG Day, like im getting my results in the evening.

Oh No! What if i fail them again? I wouldn't want to fail... I wanna Pass! I don't wanna be labelled as a Dunce..thought im never particularly good with studying and examinations..Boo!
Im afraid... I don't ever want 5:30pm to come. BOo!

freaky insomnia

I was supposed to go over to Chinatown to hunt for the elusive "mix & Match" to get some stuff today, but guess sleep got the better of me. I don't quite know what's wrong with me recently, but i've been sleeping alot, and i seem to have a problem waking up.

Somehow, it's not perculiar to most of you that i'm sleeping at unusual hours of the day. But the fact that the timing is getting "earlier" in the morning... it used to be 5 plus, then it became 6 plus, and nost recently, it's 7 in the morning.

I don't know if it's because of Da or what, but both of us seem to be having the same problem. She'll be on the com all night long, while it's only during the night that i feel that there's so many thing that i want to do.
So it looks like the both of us are encouraging each other to push back our sleeping routine.

Mommy's always been the one who objects to our unusual sleeping routine, and both da and i know that our unusual sleeping habit is bad for our health, and we should do something about...
but..but.. how?

I've finally watched Madagascar today. It's cute, and funny! I 've gotten myself a madagascar combo, which includes a box of popcorn, and a cute little madagascar cup with gloria the hippo standing on it! Decided to leave it with beanie, so i'll be able to use it when im over at his place! hee!

Came home from the movies to see mommy and Da watching Miss Universe. Well, hail Miss Canada! At least she's decent looking. It's good to know that the top 5 ladies are all brunettes. Not that i've got anything against blondes, but i do think that blondes are over rated. Somehow, they've got this look that kinda spells slutty. Look at Paris hilton, no matter what she wears, she still looks bratty, and cheap.

Can't quite understand why Lindsay have to go blonde. Might be the influence of Paris? Da and i went into a short debate of whether Paris or her sister Nicky looked better.. What say you?

Opps! Im supposed to be sleeping soon, coz i've gotta be in school by 4pm for exco meeting. Hey! surprise! surprise! im not sleepy. What am i supposed to do? Argh, it's frustrating.
Even with books, i can't sleep. With books, i become so determined to finish up the novel, before i sleep.

I don't suppose i'm down with somekind of weird freaky insomia am i?
Oh well, the newspaper man is here... guess it's really bed time.

reminising the past

woke up to realised that i've destroyed my nails! i've painted them before going to bed, only to wake up looking at the imprints of my bed sheets! Argh!
Hopped out of bed, removed the nail paint, and just as i was repairing the damage, mommy asked me to help her dye hair...

Oh well i attempted my first highlighs on mommy, with silver foil and all.... only to get bored of it, coz i realised that it'll be mission impossible! There's so much white hair to cover. So being impatient and all, i ended up coloring the entire head, instead of highlighting! Bah!

Apparently, i didn't do a good job, coz her head's looking quite patchy now. There's like patches of red, and black. I don't know what the actual result is supposed to be. But yeah, it looks quite cool and all, so who cares? But i'll still probably throw her to the salon soon..... i ain't a salon girl ya know? Grrrr!

Went to the library and got stuck in there for 2-3 hours. I got so engrossed with the artsy fartsy boooks available, that i forgot all about the time. Yeap, i chose a whole lot of inspiring book, only to realise that those books were not on loan. They are strictly to be read in the library only. Such Dumb policy! Dreads!

Yeah, i need reading material, or i'll have problem falling asleep at night. *look at poor dafy's eyes* no books to read for many months! No good sleep for daphy!. boo!

Haha, went to the supermarket with momma, after library, bought lots of food, to stock up the very bare cabinets in the kitchen. I miss those days, where da and i would accompany mommy and daddy to the supermarket, and we're have a whole cart to ourselves, while mommy would have another to herself. While hers was filled with the necessities, mine would be filled with the yummies that everyone would drool about, like chips of assorted flavour, willy wonka's sweets, chocolates, biscuits, boxes of cerals, and a huge assortment of instant food like, instant noodles, kway teow, kway chap, porridge, and rosti, not to mention icecreams, and at least 3 different flavours of ham!!!

Home used to be a happening place for friends, coz my variety of snacks and junk food, exceeds those the grocery shop down my house would have. Boy,did da and i have a roaring party at home!

We'll finish the trip to the supermarket with a phone call, telling the maid to wait for us at the lobby, to help carry all the food up home!

Yup, those were the days, looking at our tibit cabinet now, it's pathetic. On good days, there's at least be a packet of chips, and a handful of candies, icecream in the freezer ( yucky flavour like durian or yam). Compared to the heydays, it's barren man!

Somehow, i miss those days alot, where we have the maid to yell at, order around, to pick up the heap of dirty clothes, wash my plate and cups after meals, iron and wash clothes. Oh i miss them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In short, i didn't do much today, and somehow, accompanying mommy to the library and the supermarket, reminded me of my childhood, and reminscing them just gave me this funny feeling in the tummy.

oooh! i'll do anything to have a tub of napolitean icecream now....

hey! i'm still alive!

It's been more than a week, and im still sick! Can you even believe it?
From the headaches and fever, it's now down to the flu, sore throat, and cough. Boo...
I've coughed enough til im on the verge of sounding like a trannie (transversite)
Im not thrilled at the possibilities of being down with yet another throat infection.... it's horrible, having to croak. Making talking and idle chatters impossible...with everyone feeling uncomfortable listening to my croakings, and me forcing all that voice out. Urgh!

So much for Beanie and Da suspecting me of getting dengue! (with the initial fever, and me feeling hot and cold, they jokingly cautioned me about dengue!) Yeah, doubt im suffering from Dengue, or i'll probably have died already. I'm sick of being sick! hahah

Catching Star Wars episode 3-the revenge of the sith, wasn't as exctiing as i've anticipated, having to watch the first half an hour of the show countless times, while i was auditing for the film left me with this "know it all syndrome" through out the entire show.

Despite only having caught snippets of the show here and there... i was disappointed that Hayden Christensen gotta look shitty in that Darth Vader outfit. It's so unnatural! With all that control buttons right smack in the middle of his front chest, i wonder how could anyone resist the urge to poke him in the chest, (you know, colorful, lighted control buttons can be quite tempting) and see what happens to him?

My favourite character would probably be Art2D2. He's so cute in the first bit of the show... being unable to talk, makes him all the more cuter. So much for comical bits in the later part of the show.. he's like non existance!

Padme's hairdo in the show is bad!Being too elarborate is something, being too heavy and chunky is another. Wonder how she's able to "lift her head high" with all that weight from the fluff, and being pregnant, when she's not supposed to. Urgh!

But i like the name Leia! It sounds so pretty!
Yeah, enough of Star Wars! Guess they've got enough publicity!
6 of june is approaching, the thought of it left me jittery! I don't really want to know my grades for the exams. With the probability of failing, left me feeling even "sicker" than i currently am now. Despite everyone's assurance to me about how i'll most probably pass, if i really did study, im really not too sure about it.

Knowing that the papers that i sat for were really shitty, sure ain't comforting to me. Nah no comfort to me at all man!

Urgh! i really really do wanna pass!

I had to wake up early for Council meeting yesterday morning, to discuss the coming Orientation with Elaine. It went off pretty well, with us getting pretty good amount for our budgets and all, and the best news of the day was probably to know that Editorial would no longer need to fret about getting advertisers anymore! It's like such a relieve to know that money is no longer a huge issue, in order to publish RUmag in time!

Yeah! Yeah! im so excited! With the Mag being in the good hands of Jane and Bernard, with the upcoming school Bash, and the orientation! Im whopping around in excitement, even though i foresee lots of responsibilites, man power, ideas, and time involved in all this activities.
It'd better turn out good.

*cough cough*

Being sick left me drowsy, sleepy, lazy, lethargic, and grumpy.
I wanna go rollerblading soon, coz im feeling fat and flabby. I feel so conscious wearing tight fitting clothes recently. All that noticeable fats is making me depressed. Gotta start shopping for clothes that hides flabs.... like that baby blue velveteen smocking tube tunic that i've spotted at Far East just yesterday, while i was out "windowshopping" with Zoe and Eric.

It's kinda costly, if you ask me, and Eric kept asking what's with the current smocking trend! Nonetheless, all that shopping seems to agree with me, coz i left town beaming like a little child that's being rewarded with a huge serving of icecream, topped with lots or rainbow sprinkles.
Only regret would be not buying that cute little velveteen tunic.

I went over to beanie's, met him at clementi central for dinner part 2 (which explains for all the pounds that im gaining), had fried carrot cake.
I was quite determine to break beanie's palm top high score for bejewel, when i reached his house. So when he came into his room with a glass of water, a stick of haagen daz ice cream, while he was taking a break from battling in dynasty warrior on the PS2 with Bernard, i wasn't really paying much attention to what he was saying.

I remember him saying"remember to drink water, and must eat this ar!" before he left the room to resume battling in the game. Being too absorbed with my own little game, i absentmindedly said ok, and consumed my very yummy icecream.

When i was done with the game, i drank my glass of water to drink, like any good girl, and i saw a tray tiny white pills next to my cup. Hmmm i do recall beanie telling me to eat something. Yup, medicine for my flu. So i ate it too. Im such a good girl! I didn't defy orders today! -)

I continued my attempts to make it to the high score, til the palm went low on battery.
I switched on the Telly, to prevent myself from boredom, and found myself slipping into a state of drowsiness, i struggled to keep my eyes opened for the Final match between Liverpool, and AC Milan. I finally lost the struggle, and dozed off just when AC Milan scored their first goal.

I gain consciousness when they scored their second goal, and drifted off again.....
I drifted in and out, throughout the entire game, only to wake up slightly after the match ended, to see a silly bum bum hopping and smirking with joy ( that Liverpool had won the match).

On my way home, i was in this stoned state of mind, i recalled telling beanie, how flu medication always had bad side effects on me. It always left me stoned, and uncontrolled ( i'll have a hard time getting up) etc...
Oh well, it then occurred to me that, the medicine that i had earlier could be the cause of my drifting in and out of sleep, that would too explain for my very stoned state of mind at the moment. so i casually mentioned/complain about how the medication he gave me left me stoned, just like how i've predicted earlier. He was rather surprised to hear that i'm stoned from medication.

Turnd out that the medicine was there from the time he was sick. It wasn't meant for me, i took the drug coz i assumed he left it there for me...while being so engrossed with my game.
Ooh! I've spiked myself?!?

Uh huh.. luckily, that medication was supposed to be for either flu, cough, or sorethroat..which kinda fit my ailments now...

YEah so much for being a good girl... ended up drugging myself! Im such a dumbo at times!

I ended up playing Dynasty with Beanie on the Xbox before ending up home. Yeah, seems like someone's crazy about Dynasty warrior huh? With Beanie and Bernard both not sleeping, spending most of their free time polishing their dynasty warriors on both the PS2 and the Xbox! talking about fanaticS! haha, but i do have to agree that it's a pretty fun game.
Cool, guess it's time to sleep, coz the sun's up!

*cough cough*

miserably sick..

Boo! im down with fever, headache, and aching muscle and body.
It's such a miserable experience... makes me feel like im dying ( okay im exaggerating,im not dying).

It all started out with a slight hint of sore throat when i woke up at 1pm, to get dressed up for Council's Bi-annual Meeting. The sore throat then stayed on, bringing along it's friend "Headache", to stay for tea break... Headache made me feel bad and unfocused, so instead of joining Adrian, jane, Bernard and Justin at Bugis after the meeting, i decided to go home to nap for alittle while, hoping that headache would go away!

Im not sure if it was the Panadol, or the napping that made headache disappear, i woke up for dinner feeling alittle groggy, but way better. Dinner with mommy and her boss, at this yucky shabu shabu dinner was not a very good experience, it's a mistake, especially when you know that sore throat is here to stay.

Headache came back again later in the night with fever, while i was out with beanie.. As usual, it's a horrible feeling, so i went home after our supper with Winston. The minute i reached home, i plopped right into bed, then woke up, took lots of water, and more panadol, and slept.
Sleeping was rather difficult for me, as headache, fever and sorethroat was having a raging party! They partied all night long, til the wee hours in the morning. That's when i took the opportunity to rest and eventually fall asleep til like now..

i woke up groggy, but feeling much better. Guess fever is exhausted from the partying, so it's just headache and sorethroat left.. Boo!aching body and muscles, makes me lerthargic.

Yet staying at home to rest is definitely not an option, Coz there'e absolutely nothing to do, and im not gonna sit around and blog all day (besides, i've got nothing to blog about, except to bitch about how miserable im feeling). The air at home is stuffy and stale, and i don't think i'll wanna go lie down any longer.

I'm quite sure that another kind of headache would evolve around, if i were to go lie down for another 30 mins. You know, it's the kind of headache that you'll get, when you sleep for too long... Yeah..

Guess i'll go dress up, pop another panadol, and get ready for dinner.
Im not gonna stay home and be sick and miserable... No im not!

Friday the Thirteen!

I am so BoooooorrrrED! Thursday, has always been a day for me to recover from the previous night's activities. Catching up with sleep, and to soothe my aching muscles from all the dancing... I managed to sleep til 6 in the evening today..which is nothing, considering the fact that i went to bed at 6 in the morning today...

Woke up and moped around til Da was back with my dinner. I managed to redecorate my nails, and i've made my nails look like it's pajamas inspired, or something really sick. It's white and green, with baby blue polka dots! hahah... Yeah looks weird, but i kinda like it.
I even had time to do mommy's nail in this tropical coral pink, and to top it up with brown flowers. I think they look kinda pretty, and im thinking of doing mine in that shade, the next time i'm down to redo the nails. But til then, i might change my mind... lalalaa..

It's been more than a month and a half, since i last attended Mambo, because of my exams, and i skipped mambo last wednesday, as the queue was horrendously long. It didn't make any sense to hang around and try my luck entering, coz you'll be rewarded by tons of people, who's sole aim of the night is to make you feel miserable. Squishing you like a little sardine.
It's totally pointless, so i chose to go for supper instead.

Oh well, Zouk yesterday, was alright as usual. I was wearing my infamous white mango tube again, the one with a knot in the middle, that emphasises alot on my erm... bosom. Naturally, i became rather conscious of my bosom, despite the fact that the fitting's snug, comfy and all, i was rather worried that the tube would fall, or be misplaced, if someone actually shoved me aside or something.... Silly, but its precaution ma! Hahahha oh, it's that infamous tube, coz it was the one that Big Bangle had.(Refer to previous entries, if you're clueless..)

So basically, it didn't make sense for me to hang around at Phuture for long with the rest, as the place was freaking crowded. It's silly to be hanging around there, coz it's impossible to dance there, despite the relatively cool music. You're generally doing alot of body rubbing with sweaty and gross people, or shoved aside, to make way for people who're trying to get in or out of phuture. i've Never quite fancied being shoved, rubbed, and worst, not having any space to dance.
Not being able to dance is the worst form of punishment for me!
After all, the purpose of my going to clubbing, would solely be to dance, and not to stand around and look pretty like some vase or potted plant.

Making my way back to Zouk, i squeezed my way to the center platform, only to discover that my usual spot was already taken up by some random guy, but Guoyuan graciously gave up his little space for me. That, i'll always remember, and i danced the whole night away!!

The night ended with a really heavy rain, with the wind blowing really hard, and i had a hard time walking out of zouk.

As Beanie was waiting for me over at the hotel ( Phone went totally flat, and i 'm glad i had the foresight to prearrange something with beanie, before i lost all forms of communications with him), i braved the really heavy rain, and walked over to the hotel. Such short distance, and managed to look wet like some drowned cat without trying too hard!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just came back from supper, as beanie surprised me by appearing at my place at midnight, to bring me out for supper. It's our 15th month anniversary today, and it's also Friday the 13th! *beaming with joy*

*Do you know.....
That today's the only friday the thirteen for the entire year of 2005?
That there's 2 friday the 13th last year.
The next friday the 13th would be in january 2006!

Haha, it seems like im obsessed with friday the 13th!

I've gotta try and get up early tomorrow, to meet Zoe for lunch, as the Student Council is going to hold their Bi-annual general meeting tomorrow. Guess i'll have to make an effort to be there, as i didn't make it for the previous meeting last semester. So there should be no excuse to miss out on tomorrow, unless i couldn't get up in time for it? Hahahha.

Im feeling sleepy after the super, but im quite sure that i wouldn't be able to zonk out at this time, as much as i'll liked to. ARgh! what am i gonna do? Tired, but suffering from a mild version of insomia. Boo Hoo!
I've been playing lots of Freecell to bore myself to sleep, but it seems like a bad idea, as i've been rather determined to keep my Freecell statistic to at least 60% and above. The obsession isn't helping. Hahaha....

Yup it's back to my game of free cell. Later people!

New Additions

Yay! I've got new hammies at home, coz HX's Hammie gave birth, and she deperately needs people to adopt them. The first litter had like 7 of them, and she managed to give away 3 of them.

Stuck with 4 more, i decided to adopt one for Janson, ( coz i thought, it'll be nice for him to have a pet for himself, since Pix!e belongs to me... Whaaahaaa).
Funnier news> HX's hammie just gave birth again! Talking about productivity man! If Singaporeans respond to the call of the govt to reproduce more, this hammie should help with running the campaign!

The 2 hammies are sitting in a tiny temporary tank at home, coz my big bungalow cage was also given away to some friends. I thought that i'll never ever keep hammies again, coz they always turn out tragic for me. Tragic, as in gross, horrible deaths.
Like mudering each other, so i think i'll keep only one in each tank. Even while im blogging, the 2 hammies are like fighting against each other, coz i keep hearing squeaks.
Proving that even siblings cant live together in harmony.

Im glad Doreen would be collecting the hammie later this evening, in case things get horrible.

It's so funny communicating on the phone asking questions about the hammies. I thought i heard Doreen ask if the hammies are glossy, and i was like ??!! what kind of a weird question is that?!??
So i SMSed HX to ask if her hammies are glossy...(even though it sounded lame man...)
& HX replied "Yeah, they're quite glossy"

With that, i told Doreen that the hammies are quite glossy....
Doreen was like " ??!??" I asked if they're dwafie! y you did you tell me that they're glossy?

Wha....i feel dumb man!
Yet the dumbest thingie ever, was to be woken up by Janson, with news of the hammie being missing! Both Da and i, ( Who were both still lazing in bed as it's only 2 in the noon man!) got up, upon hearing that the hammie's escaped the tank! ARgh!!! I hate hamster hunting! They hide at the stupidest place!!!!

Yeah, groggily, i woke up and sat myself right in front of their tank. There was only Doreen's hammie sitting around.

Dusty ( The one Jan chose and named) was no where to be found.
"Oh Great! " I thought to myself..."where could it possibly be?"

Yeah, in less than 3 mins, i found the little thing scampering back to it's tank, for it's sister. Upon seeing me, it fled back to my living room. Giving chase to the not so cute hammie now, i felt like i was playing a game of mini rugby.

Cute, but irritating hammies, i foresee many more future scenarios whereby, the hammie would eventually escape, and i'll be woken up, to hunt around the house!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I desperately need a new haircut, and new hair color, coz im looking very unglam everytime i step out of the house. Despite the fact that i really do not need to comb my hair everytime i wake up, and still managed to look cool in it, this hairstyle is boring me!

Im having a hard time attempting to tie the little stray strands of hair into a little fox tail ( it's not even a bunny tail!) And my hair color resembles an Orangutan! It's G-R-O-S-S!
But i was hoping to survive in this dumb hair, for the entire holiday, and go fix my hair just before school term starts! Think it's possible?

Yeah it is, coz if i were to cut my hair now, it'll be even shorter! I'll have to bear with it, til it's slightly longer, before it'll be good enough for a new look! BUt it wouldn't quite be possible, as my hair's freak short now, it's impossible to manipulate. Unless i opt for hair extensions! But hair extensions would last for only a mere few weeks! Making it useless! URgh!

Luckily, Sam said he'll color/cut/treatment my hair once more, as a token of thanks, for helping him out with the hair show. So i'll probably see what new ideas he have up his sleeves again, then i'll think about it.

Im thinking of a million ideas, to churn some dough! I need $ to shop!
1) Sugar daddys should apply immediately, to avoid disappointment! The more the better! hahaha

Im thinking of going to the beach soon, but weather seems so moody recently, seems like a good plan to ditch the beach for the time being.
Im soooooo Bored with my holidays! Need ideas to entertain myself!
2)Anyone with suggestions should tag board me alright?

Momma's going to Bali on a holiday, and im stuck with little brother Janson again, for 4 whole days!
3)People who're interested in brother watching, apply via sms to Daphne!
But i doubt anyone would be interested.... Shit why is it so that my mom always have to choose to travel, during my holidays?

Party blooper!

Im hungry, so i'll probably go hunt for some food, then go back to sleep! Bumming around is such hard work!

Oh the hammies are at it again! They can't stop fighting! Argh!
4)Anyone interested in adopting hammies, contact me by any means possible.
There's 2 dwarf grey hammies with black stripe down the back that's less than a month old, and there's 4 hammies that are a few days old....Sex undetermined for those.

Im hungry! It's pigging time! ( oops, talking about pig, did i mention that little piggie pix!e is jealous? We ought to be paying more attention to her, but the hammies keeps escaping, it's hard not to give them too much attention, can we?)

The Usual Bitching.... + Birthday surprise special!

Yep, i haven't been blogging since the day after my first paper! Oh well, it's post exams for me since last friday. But i've been way too busy to blog ever since my last paper.
Haha... if i ever do, it'll probably mean that i don't have much of a life,
besides, the damn intel wireless thing in my joybook, ain't giving me any joys man!
Everytime, i tried logging in, there seem to be trouble with the wireless connections!

Oh wow! After my exams last friday, i went off for lunch at Funan the IT Mall, as Beanie wants to get himself a birthday present ( this Forza Car Racing game, having secretly been released on friday). We went over to his place to check out his new game after lunch, and i fell asleep after awhile of checking out the new game. ( You can't blame me for falling asleep, exams are strenuous for me alright!)

I woke up at 10 plus, to have dinner and more checking out of the game, The man decided to play the game the entire evening, while i zonked out. Yeah, that pretty much sums up my friday.

Ooh! i have some bitching to do! I was wearing this white mango tube with my folded up capris on my first paper, which was wednesday, and i caught this girl checking me out in a "kiam pa" manner. Dasima and i had some problem with her sometime back during lecture ages ago,

I was sitting in the row behind her during lecture, and they had the attendance file passing throughout the entire attendance. I had to pass the file to her, coz she was sitting right in front of me, so i used the file, to tap her shoulders, and she turned around to glare at me. WTF!
Yeah, fuck man, the way she glared at me, it's as though as i've been bugging her through out the lecture, in truth, that the first time i actually saw her. I was just passing the damn file over to her! What a bad impression i have of her. Yuck!

Ever since then, Das developed an instant distaste for her, and i can't quite blame her for it. Let's just give miss Glare-at-you a nickname..say Big Bangles? YEah i know, first it was Big earrings last sem, and now it's Big bangles....

Like i was ranting on earlier about what i was wearing on wednesday right? Big Bangles had the cheek to wear the exact same tube in black (such feeble attempts to be different), and "capris" too. Only that you could tell that big bangle's "capri" wasn't a real blue capri, coz it was originally a pair of jeans, and she folded it up, to achieve the same look as i did on wednesday. Fuck! What was she trying to prove?
That she's a copy cat?

That she can't afford to get a proper pair of capris, and decided to imitate through folding the jeans up? yuck! Such ugly imitations... Oh she had this huge ass of a chunky necklace on her neck, boy it's ugly man... made her shoulders look slopy. Ewuuuuuuu....

It's true that imitation, is the biggest form of flattery, but i never fanied copycats who have no style of their own, it's like someone without personality. Talking about it, leaves a bad taste in my mouth! Yeah, people should come up with their own styles instead of pirating styles right out of someone else within a few days. How gross man! If it's you, i bet you wouldn't fancy having people acting like your mirror loh.

For all you know, Big bangle probably got inspired to buy the mango tube, after seeing mine.
Wha lau... imitation is no differnt from piracy...cheapskate!
Urgh!

Yeah enough of bitching, Saturday was a normal chilling out day, as His folks celebrated his birthday in advance, due to their Europe Trip. We had dinner at The RiverView Hotel, Some Tepanyaki Buffet, which was yummy! Naturally, i was bloated. After dinner, we had this huge Banana Chocolate cake from Secret Recipe. It's yummy too, but it's like 2.5kg.
We barely ate 1/12 of it.

Beanie's folks left for Europe on Sunday. Sunday was also the Surprise day!
I had this advanced birthday surprise planned out for him at the airport, with the help of "AGENT ROY", and along with the others, like Heidi, Winston, Sheila, Mandy, Joseph, Joshua, and Gary.
It was soooooo cool!

Though things didn't quite turn out the way i planned it to be, or wanted it to be, but it was sure fun!I had many scares along the way, before the eventual surprise appear, but like what i mentioned a few blogs ago, planning a surprise for someone, was sure a bigger way of surprising yourself! Yeah it's all true!

While i was having dinner pre airport journey, Beanie received 2 happy birthday messages from friends, despite the fact that his actual birthday was tuesday! One from Joseph, who nearly let slip my little surprise, and one from Joshua's God Brother, Coz he gave Joshua a call, and heard from him that we're celebrating his birthday on sunday.. Talking about letting the cat out of the bag! Woah! Luckily, blur baby didn't suspect anything.

We proceeded to move on to the airport after dinner, when i received a msg from Roy, confirming the location in a coded message. The message alone, was enough to make me laugh, and i had to stop myself from laughing. Roy wanted to confirm, if we were at Terminal 1, instead, his little code was like: " Mother goose, is it at Nest1"

The gang had to hang around the airport with the cake for a pretty long time, as Beanie was taking a long time... Seems like the guy can't bear to leave his dada & mama.... The poor thing!
Yup, so finally, when his folks have decided to check in, i've managed to receive many more weird coded messages like "mothergoose, we are situated at the royal king's burger, please avoid area", and "mothergoose, is it time yet?" After awhile, when Roy got tired of waiting, Joshua decided to take over, and i received more messages like " Eagleone here, Ninja is down" Hahaha.... And all the while, i had such hard time keeping a straight face, coz i told Beanie that im messaging my friend, who's feeling down from relationship. I can't possibly laugh out loud at sad stuff.

Finally, after what seems like forever, i managed to drag the boy who refuse to leave his parents, over to somewhere near the skytrain. (By then, i was throwing a tantrum, insisting on having a drink at Burger King, as he wasn't cooperating with my plans!)
On our way there, i received info that the entire gang's on their way to where we were, so i had to keep a look out.

We got surprised by many Boos! upon reaching this huge pillar at the airport!
Beanie's reaction was like Fuck! fuck! Boy, i bet he really was surprised! Hahaha! Joseph presented him with the very very soft and over handled cake, and we went out of the airport to light the candles, with songs and all....

Little did Mandy know that we had yet another surprise for her. As Both beanie and Mandy share the same birthday, It was rather difficult to surprise the both of them together, so one after the other was better!

So after the first cake, roy decided to "go to the toilet" (which in actual, he rushed over to his car, drove over to where we were standing) and when he's car arrived, Joshua took the cake out, and i started yet another round of "Happy Birthday" singing! This time, i like the reaction better!
Mandy was not only surprised, but so touched, until she cried! My biggest guess, was that she wasn't expecting any celebrations for herself, as we informed her about it, soley omitting any hint that we'll be doing hers as well.

See i thought you that surprises are fun!
We headed over to Beanie's house after the airport saga, for more celebration, and there was lots of phototaking and all, with the previous night's 2.5 kg, which was probably reduced to a 2.3 kg?, there's mandy's cake which i estimate it to be 0.5kg, and the mango mirror which was 1kg... we had like 4kg worth of cake to consume!! That's a hell lot of cake for just 10 people! We ate until we nearly puke, and that was just the Secret Recipe cake. The mango mirror, and Hazelnut cake was untouched.

We met up with the gang on monday, to rollerblade/fish at the East Coast, and i had dinner at Turquoise. The chicken fillet there is yummy, and the salad is yummy too.
I had yet another little celebration with baby on monday night, as we chill at home, and watched tv, while we count down to 12. I was cooking instant noodle at the point of 12. Nothing fancy.

Tuesday itself is quiet and nice. Gone was all the excitement, we went to the supermarket to get some grocery, as beanie decided to make me my favourite Chicken soup!!
It's yummy! Though we couldn't get the kind of mushroom that the both of us would fancy, we decided to settle for fresh shitake mushrooms. Taste alittle different, but it's still yummy.
While fixing dinner, my Hero managed to "smoked" the entire kitchen, with his failed attempt in creating frozen bananas ( inspired by the preview of Arrested Development)

The entire kitchen went smoky, coz my hero here, decided to dump the choco chips from hersheys into the oven, as he intended to melt the chocolate chips, to coat his banana!
Yeah, the entire house looked like it's on fire, coz of the very sweet smelling smoke that envelopes that house...(im surprised, that the neighbours didn't call for the fire department!) even his ears stink of it after an hour, when all that smoke cleared out.

Oh well, such eventful birthday celebrations, it's not everyday, that you turn 25 ya know? HAHAHAHA

Nonsensical Ramblings

It's the day after my first paper, and im not quite in the mood to talk about it. In fact, the topic about exams shall stop here.. It's an overkill! Hahaha

Disappointments has been a constant in my life since the start of this year. Seems to me that this year has been full of passing away of loved ones, not only from my family, but from friends family as well. Every interest that i passionately pursue after, didn't quite turn out right. It might be a down on luck thingie, or it's just the overlook of the year that's affecting everyone else too.

My latest woe would be this competion that i've attempted to enter for. It's a MAC and Martina Pink! accessory making competion, organised by Tangs. Theme being butterfly - it's like my favourite icon of the century! And somehow, the urge to enter for it is simply irresistable. Despite knowing that the deadline for submission would somehow clash with my examination revision. Nevertheless, i told myself that i'll still do it, even if i didn't make it in time for the submission date, just for the sake of doing it.

Surprisingly, i was able to churn out my piece of accessory relatively early. I was left with the Storyboard and sketches to do. In case you're wondering, the accessory was intended to be a head sash, with a butterfly looking like it's perching on your head just slightly above the ears. Somehow, my butterfly was alittle too big, so it looked alittle too overwhelming for my liking.

I decided to turn it into a sash for the waist. Yeah it looks fine and cute and pretty. It was the damn story board that screwed up! I sacrificed my sleep to fix the story board, sleeping only after the completion of the photoshopped piece of work. ( it's up in friendster, check it out, if you're bored) I think it's pretty, and satisfactory for a 2 hour job. =)

When i woke up in the late afternoon of the submission day, the attempt to print my "masterpiece" was the "suay" part!
Of all days, the printer had to print something really shitty bluish picture, which signifies that the magenta's out of ink. But you know when in truth, there's still enough ink to print 26 pieces of colored picture. After some tinkering, which took ages, the decision to change an ink cartridge came upon me, and i realised that the house had to be out of spare cartridges right at the moment when i needed it soooooo much!

Yeah, pissed i was, i've decided to give it up totally at 7 in the evening, got dressed and left the house for dinner. It wasn't possible to get out of the house and buy a cartridge and rush home, and most printing shops aren't open at the time of the day, so I GAVE IT UP!
Coz printing wasn't the only thing left for me to do, i'll have to rush over to popular or some bookstore, to get the mounting board, i still had sketches to do, and presentation of my stuff?
Yeah. I couldn't possibly finish it all within 30 mins.

Yep told you im disappointed. Now the damn butterfly's just a white elephant hanging around at home. SO.... the least i could do, to make myself feel better, is to bitch about it to everyone!!
Yup. I'll decide what to do with my little masterpiece after the exams, and i sooooo sooo wanna chill out!

I went for lunch at this Japanese restaurant at Bukit Timah after my papers today. The food's pretty ok, but it's probably the lack of sleep, that caused me to have a little tweety's appetite. I couldn't finish my suki yaki soup, couldn't finish the unagi, and i didn't finish up my bowl of rice, and the miso soup. Wonder what i ate in there man!

I fell into a deep deep sleep over at beanie's house, the minute i hit the bed! Nah, im lying about it... i was still struggling to keep my eyes open, as Animal planet was featuring tigers! Tigers are soooo sooo cute! Especially the white tigers in the zoo! You guys should go check it out.

Yah, after the tigers, i fell asleep until 10 at night. Woke up and ate dinner, stoned alittle, and started studying, while my sweetie gave me moral support, by playing some Xbox game that he's just downloaded. The poor thing is still sick, sniffly and all. So when he blows his nose, it kinda reminds me of an elephant! hahah!
I didn't manage to study much today, coz im still feeling lethargic from all that lost of sleep.
Yeah i guess i've gotta go sleep soon, i'll need to be really awake, to study for stats.

Aint' it fast? Friday's approaching! I'm in a dilema! I can't wait for my last paper to be over, but the studious side of me wishes that my paper could be postponed til monday, so that i'll be able to have more time to prepare myself for statistics! But time waits for no man! so i gotta speed up and rush chug chug like a train! Erm... mayb a plane.

Oh watever!
