Counting down the hours...

I received a postcard while BD was in Paris.
My second surprise since his absence to Europe.

He's probably in the air making his way to London from Madrid, then flying from London back to Singapore to meeeee!
Tee hee hee.  I am rather pleased to know that I am actually "hours" away from seeing him.

I was thinking randomly to myself the "out of sight, out of mind theory" that I have with my bursting wardrobe, while packing my room a night ago which made me wonder, if he's gone for anything longer than 21 days, would I still remember him?
*laughs*

Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to the familiar sight of Mr Foo, and I've been told to expect a darker, skinner version of him (so he tells me, from the scorching hot sun, walking and food)..... while I've been indulging myself with my usual sustenance, sitting in the comforts of the office and home.. becoming elephantine rapidly.

Lalala.

Surprise surprise!

I woke up to my typical sleep-in Saturday, and was greeted to a peculiar sight!
A bouquet of pretty purple and cream coloured roses, was placed prettily next to my Macbook staring at me.
I took in the sight of charming hues, the water droplets perched daintily on the petals, the opulence of pearls sprinkled across the bouquet, as I wondered to myself sleepily, "how in the world did this bouquet end up on my table?!"

It took me a long while to take in the presence of the purple bouquet ( just lots of blatant staring), before attempting to investigate where the flowers came from.

The sender turns out to be..... *drumrolls*.... BD!!!
I beamed from ear to ear when i found out who the sender was.
Hahahhaha :D
It is a surprise indeed! All the way from "Barcelona"!
Turns out that BD arranged (with lots of help) for the bouquet to be sent from Singapore to meeeeee.
The flowers were supposed to make me smile until he gets back from Europe, because I missed him terribly.
This is definitely my happiest Saturday, since he's been gone.

I promised BD that I will take lots of pictures with my surprise, and here we go....
taken in the day, before heading out to SMU to collect conferment invitation passes for Mr Surprise's convocation next weekend. (Da will be graduating too! Yay!)
Taken after my night out with the besties.
Without the camera flash...

I seem to have a miraculous tan, whenever the camera flash is in use. Hmmm..
Funny eh?
Well well, those happy blooms did keep me smiling :)
Thank you, i truly ♥ the surprise.

fish a fish + Happy!

I've lost interest in playing Restaurant City ( rather, nothing much to level up anymore) , and have moved on to a new game that Valda introduced me to. It's called fish a fish!
Like what the name of the game suggest, it's a fishing game that requires you to level up by fishing at different ponds, acquiring different fishes to sell, to earn money and get better equipments and outfits to make one more skillful.
Fishing is currently my new past time, and just take a look at my aquarium!
I changed the color of the tank water to a dark purplish tinge, added corals, seaweeds in its similar color scheme and only threw in fishes that would complement the look of my aquarium. Hahahah. :D

I'm also pretty into Lounge music lately, favouring Hotel Costes' Cafe de Flore from Volume 10. Listening to the song places pretty thoughts into my head, and has some sort of a happy and calming effect on me.

Speaking of happy, the fruits from all my online shopping seems to be arriving in throngs, coupled together with those that I've bought from sale, and those that I have been sewing, I think I might just have enough newly bought clothes to last me for a month?
Laughs.

Yes I'm indeed rather happy.

Haircut!

I woke up to a very sunny morning, and a rather cooperative hair day, therefore the good lighting for peek-tures!
Well that and i wanted to show off the haircut that I've gotten on Monday.
Expensive, but satisfying.
Previously i was looking dreadful, with too much weight from the hair, that's too heavy at the bottom, too poofy at the sides. Very lifeless hair!
That and the random new (not so new anymore) hairband that I bought weeks ago.

The 2 Shocking news.........

to start my otherwise boring Friday morning..
I woke up to Da's sms, telling me that Michael Jackson is dead at 7 this morning!
Comeon, 7am is too early for me to register anything, as i plonked myself back into the comforts of my warm pillows.

It was only when i was dressing up for work, when the news of his death finally sank in. OMG!
My childhood legend is dead!!
I reminisced the days where Da and I would hang out at Dad's office lounge to watch The MJ Album in LD formats! (Freaking Laser Discs, man!) We were still in primary school, as we groove to his songs, MTVs and be really facinated by his moon walking!

The LD was some sort of an early Biography, compiling the best of Michael Jackson.
Featuring the dude himself as a kid in the Jackson 5,  snippets of his concerts and MTV made into a movie of sorts!

Even the brother who's 11 years younger has watched that LD countless times as a kid.

It's hard to comprehend that our childhood legend is dead.
I really hope that MJ will be able to truly rest peacefully, without being plagued with all his insecurities, bad press, ailments etc. The dood's got a tough life man!

I entered office greeted by the sounds of MJ, as Valda was paying tribute to MJ by playing his songs in itunes. She later also 'fessed up that even after she's exhausted her itunes collection, all major radio stations were playing MJ's songs....
we really do not have much choice here... LOL.
--
Well the second schocking news that I have learnt today!

She's soooooo hot!!!

Well, apparently Megan fox recently admitted that she's not a woman.
she's born as Mitchell Reed Fox.
OMGG!!!!
The first that I read was this... Megan Fox is a man!
There is also this video clip of Megan admitting that she's a man, a drag, a tranny where I would think that she was joking to the media...but she did look alittle emotional and upset during the interview...
Ah well...

I foresee this piece of news bursting the fantasy bubbles of millions of guys, especially so, as Transformer has just made it to the screens.
I mimicked the sound of multiple bubbles bursting, as Valda gleefully relays the shocking new to her Boyfriend.

I think Baby will be heartbroken as well, but he's just too far away in Venice for me to assess if he's really heartbroken!
Awwwww...come on,  don't be too sad. I still think that Megan's hot!

*Seriously i dont care if Megan Fox was a guy or not.
I just think it's  amusing. Soooo go believe what you want to, yeah?

Predictability.

Lately, the argument of predictability kept popping up in my head, whenever I emerge into one of my reflective mode.
I ponder if being predictable is a good/bad trait, and likewise if being fickle/volatile/inconsistent is a good/bad trait to have.

I debate really really hard to myself if i'm mostly predictable, or otherwise, and I really cannot make up my mind.
Most thoughts that passed randomly in my head would point towards my inconsistency in life, as like how most elders often worry about the general attitude that I take towards my life, where they would somehow feel that I permeate an aimless aura towards my life, that I would leave my job on a whim and fancy, to how I'd gladly dress up like a clown one day, and look real polished up another day, or even how my emotions and temperament would change really quickly in a matter of seconds.
Ahh, you get what I mean.. Flighty, capricious, whimsical, and unreliable.

However the other half of my argument stems from how I would assume responsibility like second nature, being reliable, a source of pillar to my loved ones at all times. Which also goes to show that I'm not as erratic as most view me to be either.

It is rather sickening that I draw no conclusion after all that internal debates.
Granted that I do enjoy the freedom of being fluky, but I think I deserve more credit than most people would bestow me, on my reliability.

Pristine white Mac It is!

I was spending quite abit of time hunting high and low for that miraculous sponge that I've read so much about - the Mr Clean Eraser. To my dismal, Mr Clean Eraser isnt available locally, which sparked on my other embarkation of hunting for an alternative!

I have been complaining about the accumulated grime on my office laptop for the longest time.... Since last september if my memory doesn't malfunction.
My april entry shows pictures of the grimey looking thing with 3 patches of gross grey, and the varying shades of greyness on the keypad. But LOOK at it now!

the patches of greys are gone! My Macbook is spanky white again (for the time being)!
Woo hoo!

3M's Scotch Brite sponge is my newest desktop bestfriend!
It is absolutely awesome!
And I would highly recommend this to other fellow OCD people who are expereiencing the same gruesome Macbook problem!! :D
It Works!!!
It claims to remove just about the toughest stains lurking around.
I'm itching to use the sponge for other stains, and i'm keeping my eyes open for opportunities! :D

Amused!

Mommy's home from her holiday trip.
I'm done managing the house - *throws the ball back to mommy*
I'm very amused listening to mommy's stories about her shopping woes - apparently she's having problems about copycats too!
I cannot stop laughing because she's always been telling me to be kind and tolerant to people like these, and now that she's experiencing a fullblown, in your face type of copycat for the past 9 days, I guess it's time for her to sing a new tune!

Lacoste crocodile magic show in Japan!

Baby showed me a youtube clip on a Magic show that was performed at a Lacoste retail shop in Japan!
It's one of the coolest magic show that I've ever laid my eyes on! I swear!

And now i want to watch that crocodile magic trick with my own eyes! Hmpf!

Blazing weather

Lately, the shittily hot weather has been getting to me.
I have this perpetual urge to hibernate ( I do realize that hibernating usually applies for animals living in colder climate), dunk myself in the cool comforts of the pool water, or just keep staying indoors.

I think i'm dying a slow death here, where I constantly feel like a sad chicken pie sitting in a baking oven.
The sickening process of perspiration trickling all over, and drying up, Then perspiring and drying up again is gross.
The ultimate Eekness! is feeling sticky at the end of the day.
I actually feel  like a walking perspiring lapis when I return home every night. Just imagine the multi layers of dried perspiration accumulated from the entire day under the microscope.
I'm pretty sure it looks like the 9 layer kueh from Bengawan Solo, only that it's in varying shades of dirt grey.
Uber gross!!
I'd think that everyone's going to think twice about kueh lapis craving after this.. :)

Territorial again.

Lately, I've been rather annoyed at many petty incidents AGAIN.
It's all pretty similar a scenario, if compared to my entry posted 2 years ago about being Territorial
I fucking hate sharing.
So if I share something with you, it's done out of goodwill (if you're too stupid to comprehend goodwill, go check the damn dictionary) - therefore it doesnt mean that you can act santa claus on my behalf, and spread it to the whole wide world like a fucking news broadcast without asking me if it's fine.
I dont believe in charity crap like this, and I wish to remind you that sharing the same shopping sites as me wouldn't necessary elevate you to an instant fashionista status that you badly wish for.
Too bad.

Lifehacker

I was f
lipping through a couple of magazines last friday, while waiting for the boyfriend to be done with gym, and I chanced upon an article that promised to turn my personal handwriting into a font! My very own font

Well, that intrigued me enough, to venture into lifehacker
Their DIY section amused me the most, with comprehensive instructions to create invisible floating  bookshelves (I likey like!), to create a portable, yet affordable light box (that's definitely on my highly coveted list when I was a kiddo for my arty paper projects)

The weirdest idea was to uglify your camera to deter theft. Really! For someone who spend loads of time prettifying my gadgets, I found this unbelievable. But i guess it is practical.

There's also a nify suggestion that is brow raising man! The entry is called turning a nike+ sensor (you know, that jogging gadget collaboration between nike and the apple people) into a keyless entry.. as so the site quotes " Pressing the button on your key fob to unlock you car is so last millennium. This nifty modification will have your car unlocking itself as you walk up to it".
Hahahh! Sounds kinda cool right?!

Floorplanner sounds handy, for those who're thinking of rearranging/or buying new furnitures soon. (I want my own room! *pouts*)
There is just too much to list here, and I'm not done exploring the site yet, so I guess
I'm done writing!
Have fun exploring!

Goodbye Pnut

Somewhere early last year, I announced the arrival of 3 baby hamnuts  - Donut, Peanut and Walnut.
Sadly, Donut passed away on Good Friday this year, where I found her laying on her "death bowl", while doing my usual morning rounds of feeding routine.
She had a major tumor growing beneath her, looking somewhat like a mega hamster testicle.. and was looking peaky for the last couple of days, therefore, I was prepared for her death somewhat.

The more tragic news of the 2, would be Peanut.
The little hamlet got involved in a freak accident earlier tonight. :(
I was watching the telly just earlier, when we kept hearing perpetual but intermitten squeals - which i dismissed as sibling squabbles between Walnut and Pnut.
It was only when baby prompt me to check on them, that i realized to my horror that Peanut was trapped by the mobile running wheel that came along with the cage.

The wheel had collapsed on the tiny little body while they were playing around, and hurt the little darling badly that it left her motionless.
Despite freeing her off the ordeal, but it was very obvious that the poor thing's in pain from her occasional squeals of pain whenever her sister tries to groom her (you know, the way animals try to comfort and ease pain.. yeah), and she could not recover back on all fours.

As she has always been really hyper, the sort of skinny thing that neglects food to climb around and explore nooks and cranny - looking at her laying there motionless with her eyes wide open, it seriously pains me,

I sought the help of the little brother to transfer her over to the little "ICU tank", that I've always kept for hamster emergencies, and according to the little brother, the lower part of her body was limp and dangly, which meant that she broke her spine or some major bone, and from my visual inspection, there was a major indentation on her lower body, indicating the impacted area - before the 3 of us rushed out over to Mount Pleasant Vet/clinic.

I contemplated the situation during our journey to the Vet, and deep down I already knew what the outcome would be.

When shit happens to little animals, the usual recommendation would be to put them to sleep, as it is highly impossible to put them through surgery or medication (I've probably mentioned this a million times, whenever the subject relates to a tumorous hamsters and the possibility of putting them through surgery, so I'll spare you the same rattling).

To cut the story short, I made the choice to end Peanut's suffering.
Goodbye little Pnut, I'm really sorry.

Fabrics, sewing, unpicking and holes..

Inspired by the lack of innovation in the way fashion is currently moving in Singapore, I have taken to creating a few pieces of "simplistic" looking pieces as a mean of countering the lack of variety in my wardobe lately.  I must say that the response hasn't been anything near encouraging.

Weary of skimpily short dresses or frocks that i see EVERYWHERE, I've taken to sewing an AA inspired knee length dress in minty turquoise  (it somehow looked alot shorter in the picture though...).
The first person who laid her eyes (aside from myself) exclaimed, "Is that a PJ you're wearing?" followed by isn't the material alittle thin and tight fitting?"
Well, thanks mom. :(

Da's response was a little more enthusiastic. She asked for a piece to be made for her in white, but something shorter, with a big, low neck scoop at the back. hmmm

Valda said it was nice.

Baby said he doesn't like the side of the hemlines.
Oh well, I dont think I'm able to please everyone...
But it really doesn't look too bad what!

I'm currently toiling over my grapefruit pink skirt! A summer inspired tiered skirt, this piece is absolutely disgusting to create! Drafting and cutting the fabric alone, took me hours for i had to ensure that the fabrics eventually piece up into layers of near perfect circles!
Assembling and sewing it up took up even more time!
Sadly, i was displeased with my own sewing skills, therefore I have resorted to unpicking the entire skirt, and redo-ing it again!
The heap of wasted thread kept growing from all the unpicking that i've accomplished, and the edges of the skirt is now super hole-ly!
I am determined to sew the skirt better this time!

Mommy stares at my pile of excess fabric, work tools, sewing machine strewn all over her living room every night, occasionally reminding me that she'll like her floor clean and pretty.

Well, after my grapefruit summer skirt, i think i might venture onto yet another dress or skirt in white, followed by a rumi inspired skirt ( colors undecided yet) :)
Yay!
Now every knows what I've really been up to these days..
tee hee hee!
poor mommy. ☺

A love so beautiful

Have you ever wondered how "happily ever after" couples in fairy tales really lived their lives when you were young?
I did.

As a kid, my ideals used to be obnoxiously elaborate, where Aurora from Sleeping Beauty would be able to sleep as much as she would want to, in her pretty castle, and wake up only to dress up for parties and dances that she and her prince would hold in their grand castle every night!
While Cinderella's was similar, only that hers variate a little in priority, that she  would have her fill of glass slippers,  in all the random design and colors that she can dream of, and fill up her wardrobe with as many dresses as possible.

Of course the ideal castle of theirs would look grand on the outside, and have all sort of bizarre ornaments that could rival what Alice saw in Wonderland.
That was my perception of living happily ever after.

Ideals then changed and reshaped - being older, wiser, and less imaginative, I realized that living happily ever is nowhere as colorful as my childhood depiction, but still sweet.

In an era where getting a divorce is as common as a purchasing a pack of candy, where people take others for granted, become more heartless and left their affections and ability to love buried deep under the crust of the earth, I must say that I've  been fortunate to have the chance to catch glimpses of a more realistic version of happily ever after of sorts, that has moulded valuable life lessons for me.

I have learnt from a very positive, cheerful and loving couple, that love IS possible, despite the regularity of the daily routine even after twenty to thirty years of marriage, so long as one learns not to take things for granted, the smallest chore done out of normalcy, is surely fueled by love, care and affection.

Take what i saw a couple of nights ago for example, Baby and I were strolling back to the car after dinner in town one evening, and we saw a very frail and old lady, accompanied by an equally frail and old man on a walking stick, walking down the pavement ever so slowly hand in hand.

I smiled and thought to myself for a moment, that's what i call love.
and baby said to me, "take a picture of them!"
So there you go, nothing near an award winning shot, with horrible lighting, but our best shot of the loving couple tottering down the pavement, hand in hand, happily ever after.

The month of May

Yoo hoo!
I decided on a random evening that i'll need a pair of heart shaped shades for no reasons, and here you go!
♥♥!
I'm rather pleased with it, even though it looks vaguely ridiculous to wear out publicly!
But i did wear it out for lunch with baby some weekends ago...
Well, when i stepped into the living room, baby flashed me an incredulous look, and asked skeptically if i'm wearing it out?"
I beamed at him and replied "Yeah! Let's go, i'm hungry!"
Hahah! Those ♥ shades had to see light at least once, dont they? :D

Many celebrations happened in the month of May, there's Valda's birthday that we celebrated - All the colleagues chipped in and purchased a dining voucher for The Line at Shangri-la for her.
There's also Ben's birthday....
A week later, it was Audrey's birthday, and so after contemplating for the longest time,
I've decided on her present!
As the bestie is currently still residing in Indo, I got to do the present selection all alone, and i must say that I'm rather pleased with my choice!
(Since he brain stormed Audrey's present last year, so it's kind of fair that I do my share this year! )
So i got her a rose gold guess necklace!
I thought the rose gold shade looks pretty unique, and most importantly, it's pretty!!!
I liked it so much that i bought myself the exact design in bracelet.
Unfortunately, the rose gold look sick on my skin, and I chose the bracelet in silver instead. :(

I met Audrey at Canele for dinner, and we stuffed ourselves with loads of delicious food!
If you squint hard enough, you can see the necklace sitting on Audrey's pretty neck!
--
Days later, i attended Liang Tai's wedding on Mother's day!
It was a fun event as usual, with all the happy, wild colleagues, life really doesn't get too boring.

Baby came to get me after the dinner, and while waiting for him to buy stuff, i decided to fool around with mirror!
Genny was gone a few days later! :'(
This was probably my last few shots in the car! Boo!
(But hello, shiny new car! I'll cam whore with u soon!)

and to end it off, a trigger happy series of us!
We had a mini competition between us, to see who could undo those Mshaped IQ puzzle the fastest! Hahaha! Wanna guess who emerged as the winner?

earphones part 2

On a hind note, I was relating to baby that earphone manufacturers SHOULD hire me to test the durability of their earphones, and he laughed!

He also suggested that I could start a website and peddle my services. Some names that he suggested to me goes:

earphonereviews.com
canyoustomponyourearphones.com
myearphoneisbetterthanyours.com
beatupyourearphones.com

My personal favourite would go to beatupyourearphones.com
and because he is ever so helpful, I should also set up this : mybflovestobanterwithme.com
Hahahah!

*shortly after, the sister said to me on msn.. " eh, I'm going to get you earphones for all future  birthdays and christmas every year. Saves me the trouble of fretting over presents"
Something like that.
Hahahahah.

Earphone woes

Damn! It seems like some sort of earphone jinx that I am experiencing here!
My earphones never had decent lifespan of the average!!
They usually do not even last for a year!
In the span of approximately a year and a half, a total of 5 earphones has perished under the careful supervision of Daphne....
Seriously, it is baffling, but there is nothing that i can do about it!

#1 The orignal white earphones

The white earphones that came packaged with my nano died within 6 months. Cause of death?
I trod it to death by accident. The little paper piece in the earphone then played horrible cackley music when plugged it in. Oh well, my bad!

#2 The replacement white earphones

It turned into a shade of dirty grey rather quickly, and the replacement earphone didnt last past 2 months!
Cause of death?
In my attempt to prevent future stampede deaths,  i decided to coil the earphones around the nano, and it also neatened my bag considerably!
Well that coiling apparently killed the wiring, and music was only coming out frm one ear! Urgh!

#3 Blackie with baby pink earbuds

Gah! Being sick of looking at dirty white earphones, I bought blacky from the same reseller, and i threw a mini tantrum about the bad quality earphones (and promptly feigned denial about coiling the earphones) that was sold to me previously, which resulted in my purchase of Blackie at a heavily discounted price!
Blackie lasted for 4 months, and soon died the same way #2 died.

#4 The sci-fi tricolored earphones

This one lasted the longest, and i was pretty impressed that it not only looks pleasing, but it is also hardy enough to survive the tangles with the contents in my bag, and actually behaved like how all earphones are supposed to!
Unfortunately, 7 months later, it died a natural death of wear and tear - as i am currently listening to intermitted music on one ear as i travel. :(

#5 The black heart shaped earphones with pink rhinestone/diamonte

This pretty little thing took over the duties of earphone #4 for a couple of months, until it went for a 30 minute swim in my office cup.
Like a typical diving ailment that one may experience, it is currently deafer on one ear... which led to #4 making a comeback, only for me to realise that it's giving me intermittent music after a month. Damn again!

#6 The white heart shaped earphones with silver white rhinestones/diamante

Brand new! This fella is going to make its way out of the box when i get home tonight, lets just pray hard that it would not perish quickly like it's predecessors!

White macbook I WANT!

Since joining Chilli Red, one of my biggest daily challenge in the office, would be my obsession to keep my Macbook white!

If i have my way, the macbook would look exactly the way it looked, when it comes off the sealed box.
However, I'll just be thankful if my work surface could actually be just one color, instead of the varying shades of greyscale discolouration, ranging from white white, to somewhat white, to greyish white, to horrible grey! Urgh!
My eyes hurt just from looking at it.

The grossest place would be the palm rest areas, and coming along second, would be touchpad areas!! As for the keys.... I seriously believe that the vowels and my preferred numbers are emerging darker than the rest!
Gosh! I do believe that i might have to start changing passwords soon! *laughs*

It took me so much effort to clean it on a frequent basis, only to know that hardwork and conscious effort doesnt pay off here! :(
I've resigned and resorted to sticking 2 new pieces of post-it notes weekly, and just looking at the weekly build up of the post it notes - i'm greatly disgusted!
(you probably would not want to visualise how gross the pretty white palm guard that came along with the laptop was, before i chucked it into the bin)
*grumbles*
I googled occasionally, and am i glad to know that I'm not the only one with an Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour here! woo hoo!

those dark, sketchy stains that slowly grow like a cancer where you rest your palms..Gizmodo

Well, I've attempted hand sanitizing gel, kleenex the window cleaning solution - inspired by how to clean your white macbook, lighter fluid, and now i'm inspired by a super geek caleld Alex raiano, to get a mister clean eraser! I wonder if Singapore carries Mister Clean Eraser? Im definitely heading over to the supermarket this weekend!

Boy, am i glad that my personal macbook is of Brushed Aluminium "color"!
Of i might just die from too much Mac-whitening to do!
Cheers!

A day with the brother

I spent saturday hanging out with the brother at home, doing nonsensical stuff!
He was helping out with my weekly little Zoo cleaning up routine, when I had this "brilliant" idea of popping corn kernels!
So there we go, 2 tiny little dried corn-ings and a smiley brother!
Close up of our subject!
2 little corn-lings sitting in the microwave...
Jabbed at a few keys, and hey presto!
Popped corn's on its way!
Well you probably wondered where we found the corn-lings from...
Which leads me to......Heheh.... a fresh packet of golden corn for the little zoo to nibble on!!
hahahahaha! ( Oops! Mom wasnt quite thrilled to know that her microwave has been sacrificed for our short little experiment/entertainment - but she wasn't home until much later in the evening anyway!)
It all started with a few corns-lings that was detatched frm the cob.... and came my awesome idea of popping it for fun la! *sheepish smile*
Here we have the packaging of my ingredient!
Vitakraft's golden corn nibbles for little animals like bunnies and guinea pigs!
It comes with a handy clip to latch onto the cage grills for easy nibbling, and Look how happy the bunny is, nibbling his new treat! :D
but after 2minutes-ish.... i ran back to the kitchen, only to be greeted by....

a pathetic sight! *sigh*
I thought to myself, perhaps the timing wasn't long enough, and so i tried it for a second time!

*double sigh* the corn's just gotten more charred, and the microwave oven was emitting charred smells, and that's when i gave up and chucked the charred corn-lings away.
Such sad Corny idea. :(

Shouldn't the corn pop like the packeted ones available at the supermarket?
I do not understand why!!!

Now that project popped corn had failed, i moved on to project beautifying the brother!
( I actually remember how sad i was when I had bad skin...so I feel for the brother now...)
Therefore, I've decided to slather peel off charcoal masque onto his skin, in an attempt to decongest his pores alittle!
Seriously, i waited for the longest time for the masque to dry up, and it never quite did!
Sweaty nosed brother = never a moment of dry face = masque not drying up.
I gave up waiting for his nose to dry up, and started peeling the stuff away! I'd say that
peeling off was rather successful, with the exception of the sweaty nose bit!
Hahah!
I banned the dood from laughing, and this was his best shot. Hur!

This marks the end of "ka -jiao-ing" my brother for a day.
Lalalal!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
Yeah, it looks as if I've disappeared off the surface of the earth from blogging, but fret not! I'm back!
I went for a haircut about a week ago, because my hair's grown a tad too messy for my liking. It's all limp and flat, and it just looking at myself in the mirror, my mood goes all limpy and flat as well, so a haircut it was, to perk me up!
I've finally decided to go for a change in my choice of hairdresser, and she gave me bangs! :D  It was an interesting change for me, and i was mostly amused with the "massage"/ vibrating chair, while getting my hair lathered. The haircut was rather pleasant, and I left the new place feeling rather pleased!

As usual, changes to the hair is often a good excuse to camwhore, and I ended up with a cute shot of baby instead! Argh! Just take look at his naughty face!
And after much cajoling/threats, he finally cooperated in my pictures. Yay! :D

--
Since it's Easter, we should always have some bunny and easter eggs involved right?!
Forget about the egg bit, and meet my 2 cuties!
The house / easter bunny's got this - . - expression in the picture..
Apart from his act shy/ act cute expression, I've also realised that Scrabbles has gone creamy at the under tummy! Oh no! He's a black bunny no more!

Scrabbles laying on my lap, looking resigned. (I think he's given up on behaving like a crazy, wild bunny...and have gone all act cute, and cuddly like a soft toy lately.)

To be fair, there's also pictures of the house darling, Pixie!
Baby took this shot for me, while i was lazing on the floor with pixie.
She's still fat and furry, but I guess age is creeping up on her.
She refuses to stand and "beg" for treats, like the way she used to. :(

Random shot of our bugsy teeth!  heh heh!
That's all for now....and I shall sign off with baby goofing in my pictures again. :D
(He was trying really hard to break my bejewel high score of the week - 130,700)
I guess i would not be able to achieve that score, without him offering his Tablet! I guess the fujitsu Tablet PC is almost as cool as a Macbook la... Tee heehee!

Tata!
